Maria’s POV:
“Are you sure you don’t want to eat anything?” James asked as he continued to prepare dinner inside the kitchen. I was sitting above the counter, my hands and legs were close to my chest and I was looking at James while he was cooking.
“No, I don’t want to eat anything. I’m not hungry,” I replied. I lost my appetite and since I came back from the hospital, I just didn’t want to do anything at all and that included eating and drinking.
“But you haven’t eaten anything from morning,” James argued. He was right on one part. The last thing I ate was pancakes in the morning, after that, I didn’t eat anything.
“I ate in the mall,” I lied hoping he would believe me. I just didn’t want to eat anything because I know I’d eventually puke it out or feel nauseous after tha
