Maria POV:
I was broken once again by Monica’s words. This time I didn’t want to go Mr. Black and bash at him but instead I wanted to sit down with him and talk about it. I was tearing up when I reached up to his office. Surprisingly, there was no one here, not even the receptionist whose name was Claire. Wrinkles formed on my forehead, I opened Mr. Black’s office door and walked inside.
“Knock before you come,” Someone yelled. I flinched and jumped a step back with their voice. Mr. Black’s seat was empty and he wasn’t in the room instead there was someone else, someone more worse than him.
