Chapter 21 - Dreams
Maria’s POV:
At 1 AM, I was seated on the ground in front of the window, I was looking at the moonlight and watching the city go dark. It looked beautiful without the lights too. Daddy was asleep, he dropped dead at 10 PM and I didn’t disturb him after that. He was really tired and disturbed from all that happened and I feel sad for him.
Daddy took care of me.
After he fell asleep, I sat by the window and stared outside. Since then, I didn’t move. I had to shower but the water was too cold and I had no idea how I could switch on the heater. I was just happy that he was right next to me.
