Don’t Underestimate an Alpha

*Amelias POV* Its my first day at a new school with a new pack. I get up extra early at 5:00 A.M. and get out of my bed, make my bed, and get a shower in my glass walkin shower. I get undressed out of my pajamas and get in with the water pretty warm, I start to feel the water on my face as I lean my head back to get all of my hair wet. I wash my shoulder length hair and my body and get out of the shower and dry my hair. I look at my phone and its only been an hour since I've been awake. I still have an hour left before I have to be at school. I finish getting dressed in my school outfit which includes a white tank top, black shirt cut off halfway, fishnet leggins, ripped jeans, knee high boots, and a black choker. I go back to my bedroom to see I only have 30 minutes before I have to leave. I get my binders, which are color coded for my classes, and my notebooks, also color coded, into my backpack and I start to leave for school. " MOM! DAD! I'M OFF TO SCHOOL" I scream to my parents as I walk out the door "Bye sweetie!" I hear my mom and dad scream back to me "Remember what I taught you! Don't be afraid of anyone or anything!" My dad hollered as I shut the door And so my walk begins. I have to walk at least 30 minutes to get to my new school. If you're wondering why I have to go to a new school it's because 1. I got kicked out of my last school for fighting with the other alpha males to much, and 2. because I'm becoming alpha female in the next territory over, and they know they are getting a new alpha female but they don't know what she looks like, they have to go to school with 20-30 different females but only 1 is the new alpha female and she gets to pick the new alpha male based on who she thought was the nicest to her. I finish my walk to my new school and I go inside to see the most beautiful alpha males. One comes up to me. "Well hello there princess" He says "Don't call me princess" I say with a snarl "Awe she doesn't like pet names" He says fake crying "I said shut up!" I growl and he whimpers and walks away I keep walking and get to my homeroom and walk in. "Hello there Amelia. Class this is one of the new girls, who could potentially be the new alpha." The teacher says. "Why don't you sit next to Adrian. Adrian please raise your hand." She adds. Adrian raises his hand, and I see the most handsome alpha, short brown hair, blue eyes, and beautiful grey ears. I go and sit next to him. "Hi I'm Amelia it's nice to meet you" I extend my hand "It's nice to meet you too I'm Adrian" He shakes my hand. 'Oh my god he has an Australian accent' I think to myself "Where'd you move from?" He asks me "Oh I came from over in Sunny Village." I say, "May I ask where your from, I don't mean to intrude I just really like your accent." I add "I'm from Australia." He says while chuckling "Oh wow That's so sweet I've always wanted to go to Australia. My mom's" I pause for a minute 'I can't say pack he can't know I'm the new alpha female' "family is from there" I finally say "Oh..... that..... that's nice" He says I hear the bell "What class do you have next?" I ask "Shifting" He says "Oh my gosh, me too. Would you mind showing me where it is?" I ask "Well of course, anything for such a beautiful lab" He winks "You can tell?" I ask as we start walking "Yea we can all smell each other." He says "Hey Adrian" Someone yells from behind us. I turn around to see a 5'7 alpha male coming up to a 6'0 tall Adrian and me being 5'3 was hiding behind Adrian "What do you want Ricky?" Adrian says 'Did he just snarl?' I think to myself "Or what? She's not the f*****g alpha!" Ricky yells Adrian growls and starts to go for him but I hold his hand so he can't go forward. "Let go of me" He says as he turns his head towards me I look at him and his eyes are a bright red color "P-please stop" I say with tears building up in my eyes His eyes immediately change back to the sky blue color I seen when I met him. "Amelia, I-I'm so sorry are you ok?" He asks as he hugs me I just shake my head no "Tell me what's wrong?" He said bending down to get to eye level with me "I-I grew up in an abusive and toxic household. I can't deal with fights and yelling" I whisper in his ear "Wait your the alpha female?" He whispers back "H-how'd you know?" I ask "I'll explain later ok?" He says as he stands back up and starts to walk with his arm around me We get to our next class and sit and talk until the class ends "What class do you have next?" He asks "Science," I say "Damn, I have Chemistry." He says "Look here's my number if you need me for anything call me ok?" He says as he takes my phone and puts his number in "T-thank you Adrian." I say and smile as I head to my next class I get to my next class and walk in and sit in the corner by myself Some alpha male walks up to me and sits down next to me "Hi. My names Matthew, but please call me Matt." He says extending his hand towards me "Hi, my name's Amelia." I say shaking his hand, but I feel a shock, I yelp and pull my hand away from his. He grabs my face and now I feel the shocking in my face so I snarl "Don't you dare snarl at me," he says as he snarls I show him my teeth as I push his hand away from my face "Get your hands off me" I growl at him He whines and puts his ears down and walks away. Another female comes up to me "Way to go alpha," she whispered in my ear She then handed me a note] 'All the girls know who the alpha is, but we all still compete to pretend we are the alpha to trick the boys, be warned for the snobby fake alphas. If you ever need me, here's my number' And her number was written at the bottom I pull my phone out and message Adrian "Hey, can I ask you something?' I send "Yea. What's up?' He responds after a few minutes 'How did you know?' I asked 'I grew up watching an alpha female be brought up. She was abused, but don't keep this in your messages, I don't want other guys to find out your the alpha cause if you only hang out with me then you'll pick me, and I want it to be a fair chance' He sends back I delete the message and he sends another one 'How did I know what?' He sends back 'How did you know that I was scared when you and Ricky were fighting?' I send back playing along 'You seemed scared and you held my hand, no one does that unless they are scared.' He sends 'Well the bells about to ring what class you got next??' I send 'I got History' he sends back 'OMG SAME! YAY lol" I send back 'Well like I said i want it to be fair, so don't sit next to me find another guy to hang out with' He sends back The bell rings and I walk to the history classroom. I see Adrian and wave, he waves back at me. I find someone to sit next to "Hi, I'm Amelia, it's nice to meet you. What's your name?" I ask extending my hand to the 5'8 short styled brown haired, green eyed, brown eared alpha male sitting next to me "My name's Maximus, but you can call me Max." He says and doesn't shake my hand "Nice to meet you Max" I say The class starts and after the teacher hands out the papers I find a problem that I don't understand "Hey Max." I whisper "What do you want?" He says with an attitude "Do you know how to do this problem?" I ask "Are you stupid?" He says and scoffs A few minutes later I feel a tap on my shoulder "Do you know how to do this problem?" Max asks and points to the problem I was asking him about "Are you stupid?" I ask and smirk "Hey, that's not nice." He says grabbing my face and pulling it so close to his that I can feel his breath on my lips. "Now you listen here you, don't ever f*****g back talk me again, you got that you little brat?" He adds "Get your hands off me" I snarl at him "Don't back talk me!" He raises his voice enough to get the teachers attention "MAXIMUS HOLDEN! TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE! NOW!" The teacher yells at Max He lets go of my face and snarls at me but walks out of the classroom. A few minutes later Adrian comes and sits next to me.
