Chapter 5It was not just a kiss. As soon as Dane’s mouth touched his, Guy knew it could never be just a kiss between them. If it were only a kiss, Guy’s body wouldn’t flare to life. If it were only a kiss, Guy wouldn’t have wrapped his hand in Dane’s shirt to pull him closer. If it were only a kiss, Guy would have been able to stop after a few seconds. He wouldn’t have strained to deepen it, and chased Dane’s mouth when he tried to pull away.
Dane’s lips were firm and fit Guy’s mouth perfectly, neither too big nor too small. His skin wasn’t chapped or rough. His breath still tasted of ice cream and chocolate. Guy didn’t know if you could forget how to kiss, but it didn’t matter. Dane was a perfect guide, showing him exactly how to move, exactly how to respond.
