Chapter 11:Sunny

I shouldn't have trusted Autumn when she said that there won't be a lot of people at the party. I'm standing on the doorway and the amount of people entering and walking out of the residence is driving me crazy.

"Autumn," my lips twitch when I look at her ,"You told me that it might be a small party.Infact you convinced me on the way that you spoke to someone here and it -"

Autumn immediately covers my mouth so that I stop talking,"It's too late to complain now ! Just enjoy!"

There's no way I'm going to surivive this night.Is this the price I have to pay by allowing Autumn to a frat party that will probably scar me for weeks.I can't even turn back now because it's too late and this dress is uncomfortable.

"Don't think too much about it,"She chuckles and pats my shoulders,"Just enjoy!"

I don't think this is something she should even laugh about that. However, I can't stand outside with this chilly weather.Neither I nor Autumn carried a jacket.Autumn doesn't get cold like me.She is literally a walking heater.

"You need stop thinking too much and enjoy yourself,"she pulls my hand and pulls me inside ,"Let have some lunch to loosen up."

"You will be the death of me,"I roll my eyes at her but she just smiles at me.

Autumn hands me a cup of punch that I believe is just alcohol. I reluctantly take a sip of the liquid because I don't want to get drunk.

The taste isn't as bitter as I thought... I'm finding myself downing the whole thing. Maybe this isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

"Tastes great,right?"Autumn smiles ,"The alcohol is only a tiny fraction.If you want something stronger we can have some beer or shots over there?"

I shake my head even though the music is blasting in my ears.If Autumn is wasted then that means that I'm the only lifeline left. I open my mouth to tell her that this cup is enough ,when a dark shadow looms over us and interrupts our conversation. Autumn smiles at me and nudges me to look behind my back.I turn around only to find a tall guy in a tight black shirt and ragged jeans.

"Hi ,"his voice drawls over the loud music.

This isn't how it's supposed to be.I look back to Autumn but she is already winking at me like a maniac.Not only that, but she keeps pointing at the corner while mouthing words I don't understand.

"What are you doing?"I ask her dumfounded.

"I'm just going to casually get more beer "she laughs loudly and walks back slowly,"I will see you later,Sunny."

And with that statement,my friend disappears into the crowd leaving me alone with this tall guy.I can tell that he is an athlete from his physical appearance,but I completely have no desire to have a conversation with him.

"I've been watching you for five minutes," he continues stepping closer to me with the red cup in his hands. "Most people come here to lose their minds, but I can tell you are different."

"Well,"I laugh nervously,"I don't think I look different from anyone else. "

"The name is Brad,"he smiles at me and lifts my hand to kiss it,"I'm honored to to meet you "

I have no idea what this is ,but this is way too much for me.

" Excuse but this lady is my girlfriend,"a familiar voice interrupts us.

All the nerves in my body shut down and my heart starts beating extremely fast when I hear that familiar voice.There is way no way it's absolutely him.My face falters when I look back at the direction of the source of this voice.

I thought I would never see him again.

"Sorry for interrupting," Noah apologizes,though his voice holds no hint of sincerety.He eyes Brad up and down with disgust in his eyes. "She is my girlfriend, and you are in the way."

Girlfriend? I have no idea what is happening and why Noah is doing this.This might cause unnecessary tension like last time,but the innocent guy just nods his head and walks off leaving us together.That was definitely very fast.He didn't even put up a fight.I look around for Autumn but she is nowhere to be seen.

I really should have left.

Suddenly, without any words Noah grabs my hand and drags me from the raging noise and takes me to one of the random rooms in the house.He closes the door behind him and pushes me on the bed.I try to get up immediately my body drops on the bed but Noah encases my wrists before I even have a chance to move my body.

"I should have marked you and put a collar on you ,"his voice rumbles.

A chill runs down my spine as he says those possessive words.This is the guy that dumped me in front of everyone and humiliated me by kissing Selene.Now he is trying to put a collar on me by marking me.I don't even understand what that means.

"The moment I cast you aside for future purposes,some flies start bothering my meal. I shouldn't have left you ,"he says.

No,I shake my head and stare into his eyes that are slightly changing into a dark colour.This is the same possessive look that Lennox had when I was with him.My mouth feels so dry and my body instantly recoils from his touch but with my wrists caged by his hands I can't simply move.

"Can you please let me go ,"I speak in a breathless voice,"My friend is waiting for me downstairs and I don't want to worry her."

"Bull s**t ,"he barks and tightens his hold on my wrists,"I won't let you go until you understand something"

This is really absurd! My eyes fly straight to the door handle ,but I don't know how I'm going to leave because Noah is really strong.His grip doesn't loosen at any second.

"Why are you doing this ? "I whisper in a low desperate tone,"We don't have any relationship and you don't love me."

"That's the thing,"he slowly descends his head until his breath brushes the hair on my skin,"I thought I didn't want you but seeing other guys trying to take you pisses me off and I hate that."

He pulls my ear with his teeth and gently bites it.My body freezes at the invasive touch but I can't pull my hands from his grip.I don't know why Noah is acting like this and why he has suddenly changed.He clearly humiliated me and now he is trying to harass me.

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for treating you badly.Right now,I just want you back, "he whispers,"Forget about the past.The moment I saw Lennox trying to get near was you the moment I lost it. I like you. "

"I don't believe you ," I hold my breath as my body tries to squirm away from his hold.

He drags his wet tongue on my neck and then,finally clamps his teeth on a tender spot.A searing pain pierces through my entire body as his teeth slowly sink down on my skin.My mouth is open ,but my voice can't even come out.I don't know why I can't move or scream.

Like the light in the darkness,the door bursts wide open and Noah is immediately ripped from my arms in a split second and thrown across the room like a bag of potatoes.

No sound of the impact, no cry of pain but just a deafening and hollow stillness that swallows the whole room.The only sound I can hear is the music blasting downstairs and the errractic sound of my heartbeat.

"What did I tell you last time? Do you want me to physically kill you ?" A low and calm voice finally speaks.The sound of his voice cuts through the noise in my ears and speeds up my heart rate.I know this time for sure it is Lennox.
