I fluff my curly blonde hair and check my makeup one more time before I surprise my boyfriend for the Halloweens party. I have been preparing myself the whole day for this.Just thinking about how I met him a few months ago in my freshman year makes me blush extremely hard.Noah is literally my dream boyfriend; Tall, dirty blonde hair, handsome and a player of the baseball team. It's so unbelievable that a girl like him would date someone like me ! It is literally my first year doing Actuarial science at East Wood University and he just suddenly asked me out.Even my friend couldn't believe it. The loud music blares through the speakers as I step into the biggest dancehalls our college has.My roommate and close friend couldn't be here because she had lost her grandmother,but she allowed me to borrow her dress for this occasion. Thank goodness I could fit into her dress. I nervously look for my boyfriend until my eyes land on the ugliest scene I have ever seen in my life. My heart sinks when I realize that the person Infront of me is my boyfriend kissing another girl shamelessly and not just any girl but our popular cheerleader in Campus, Selena! My legs freeze as the tears threaten to spill from my face in shock. My roommate was right about Noah ,there was something wrong about the way he acted all the time and I should have listened to her. "Noah ," I gasp as I look at my boyfriend shamelessly kiss Selena the obnoxious cheerleader. My mind whirls as I watch him stick his tongue down her throat and squeeze her butt.Things that he never even bothered to do with me. Noah whips his head at the direction of my voice and pales," Sunny! " "Noah,"I gasp his name again as the pregnant tears suddenly fall from my eyes . There's a look of disappointment in his face but that quickly fades away as he opens his mouth again. He smirks ! He smirks right in my face. "I'm so sorry you had to see this but the only reason I was with you was for you to help me - " "Ohh Noah ,"Selena interrupts him with a loud chuckle and looks at me ,"This little pig isn't worth it okay ! Let her go back and cry in the dirt like the pig she is ! " Suddenly the loud music stops playing and everyone's eyes fall on me. At this point I just want to the ground to swallow me whole. "Look ," Noah speaks and shrugs ," I was just using you to help me pass the exam that would get me through the semester. My scholarship was on the line ." "I thought you liked me ," I reply as I choke back in tears. "You thought you had a chance ! I was just lending him to you! "Selena sneers as her face morphes into disgust. Everyone around me starts snickering as I start to back away in embarrassment. My flight instincts kick in as I start to panick again. Why do I go through this humiliation everyday? My first boyfriend was just using me this whole time and I fell for it! I try to turn away quickly and get out of the crowd but I end up bumping into someone carrying a cup of red punch.The liquid spills all over my dress and stains it.The person immediately apologizes and scurries away but the humiliation increases as everyone laughs at me.Washing this will be a pain.... "Awww did the pig just stain her self! why are you fleeing?Oink oink ! "Selena bursts into fits of uncontrollable laughter. My vision blurs as more tears fall from my face in embarrassment. The last thing I see is Noah and Selena smirking in my face as I stand up haphazardly from the floor.I look at the exit and sprint out of the dancehall. When I reach the parking lot,I spot my small car that is totally not in good shape.I step on the gas pedal and start the car. My focus is on the road as I think about getting home faster so that I can completely cry my eyes out and stuff myself with chocolate and ice cream. The tears and the painful images distract me. I glance at the road in front of me and I notice a large fluffy husky on the middle of the road.I try to dodge the poor animal but I'm too late because the next thing I hear is a loud bang.I halt my car immediately to check out the incident.My dress is ruined,my boyfriend embarrassed me and now I just ran over a poor animal. "Oh my goodness!" I exclaim feeling extremely awful that I just ran over a poor animal . What the hell is wrong with me ? There's no point in scolding myself right now.I rush to the front of my car and go straight to the injured animal I just hit. Big is an understatement. It is completely huge and beautiful with midnight black fur.This is a definitely a wolf with traits of a Siberian husky.It opens it's big gray eyes and stares directly at me . I freeze when our eyes lock into each other. I have never felt so connected to an animal. His gray eyes are so mysterious and mesmerizing that I find it hard to tear my eyes from him.I have always loved animals and I instantly gravitate towards them.I could have decided on veterinary science but things changed. I snap out of my crazy thoughts when the large husky dog whines loudly . I realize that the poor animal is injured. Sparks tingle on my skin as soon as my finger brushes it's fur.It continues to stare at me apprehensively like it's not sure what it should do with me . "Calm down big fella.I just want to help you,"I coo I brush it's fur soothingly until it lets it's guard down.I discover that one of its paw is dislocated with a tear on its stomach. I feel so guilty for doing this. I instantly want to cry right now . "I'm so sorry ,"I apologize. Why do I feel like I'm talking to a person not a dog but a dog is still a living thing and much better than humans anyway. "I'm going to carry you to my car okay love ,"I sniff . "I will patch you up ,"I sniff loudly again . I slide my fingers down his body.It has to be a male! He just feels like a male.Besides the energy around this dog is strong and pleasant.He is such a cutie.I lift him up and Gosh he is so heavy! He suddenly purrs as I led him into the backseat. I put him gently on the seat close the door. His gray eyes lock into mine again as I make sure he sits comfortablely so that I can take him with me.
