Mate!
"She smells heavenly,"my wolf says ,"She is ours!"
I can't believe I'm hearing these words from my wolf! This is f*****g absurd and I'm probably delusional right now.I have been searching for my mate since I turned 18 years old and now she just landed in my arms after 3 years!Not only that but she is human.I have no business with a human.My wolf is pacing back and forth while trying to claim her as ours but I'm against this whole thing.
I have always wanted my mate but a human is a liability and she will cause problems for me.Infact,since she is human ,I wouldn't need to bother myself with mating because humans don't feel the mate-bond as much as we do...So I will just ignore this and pretend like nothing happened -
"Are you crazy? ,"my wolf mutters in confusion,"She is ours and we are claiming her."
My whole body is laying comfortably on the back seat as I listen to her angelic voice talk non-stop. She never keeps quiet and I doubt if she ever does but that voice is doing something to my chest and I f*****g hate it. There's no way I can have a human mate.That s**t is rare and impossible! Just the thought of making her mine-
Suddenly,the car halts at a place not far from the campus I recognize.I know this place because my pack is just a few kilometers away from this area. It's not a secret!She is probably a student at East Wood University,which makes this a big problem for me.
"We are finally here,"she sighs .
My heart sinks when she opens the car door from the front seat and leaves. Only for her to open the back seat door with a warm smile on her face. Dimples form on her rosey cheeks as she tries to pull me out of the car. My alpha ego wouldn't have let this happen but the injures are so bad. It would take some time for the injuries to heal.
I take my time to look at her full figure that is hiding under a huge coat. I wonder how she looks if she was completely bare under -
"C'mon we need to get you inside ,"she encourages me with her hands widespread
Everything about this lady is so warm and calm. Her scent is so heavenly and sweet.She doesn't smell like the other humans neither does she smell like she has a wolf. Which is completely strange and rare.Her voice is so angelic and bubbly. It's almost feels like she fell from the heavens.There's no way she can be my mate. She is too perfect and full of sunshine and...too soft for me.
"She is our mate! And you need to accept her ,"my wolf whispers to me.
" C'mon buddy ," her voice interrupts me ," we need to get you inside ."
I reluctantly get up from the seat ready to hop off the car but she proceeds to carry me like a pup.Her small body wouldn't be able to carry a huge wolf like me but surprisingly the strength she has as a human is remarkable.
"I'm so sorry," she speaks," I was distracted and the least I can do now is just help you before I can let you go home."
My wolf yips in response like an actual dog and licks her face. Her warm skin sends tingles throughout my body as my tongue licks her again.
"Why did you do that ? "I growl to my wolf angrily
"Because she is ours,"he replies.
"No,she is not ours! "I answer angrily," there's just no way that she is my mate "
"My name is Sunny which is short for Sunshine," She groans at her own name,"Animals are not allowed here but I will make sure you will be fine okay because I seem to like you ,"
Fuck,I like you too.
The lady's voice brings me back to reality when she puts me on the floor carefully. I look at her soft blonde hair cascade down her shoulders. She is truly an angel and her name is just perfect for a Luna. She would make the perfect Luna,if she wasn't human but I can't be swayed like this.When she falls asleep,I will leave her immediately.
"And I will call you max for now ,"she smiles at me .
My wolf growls angrily at the nickname. I would rather much prefer alpha but looking at the state I'm in.Maybe I wouldn't mind.
"Woah ,"she laughs at my reaction while holding her chest ,"What about Rex ? "
My wolf and I don't agree but since we will be leaving here the next day. I will just accept anything for now. After all it seems to make her happy. She continues to patch me up while she talks endlessly about herself. I don't understand why she is my mate because it's so impossible.
"And we are done,"she smiles finally.
Her infectious smiles makes my chest tighten again. I don't even know if I can roll my eyes at her. I watch her stroll to her closer as she grabs her PJs. Her white dress is stained with something red and it looks like she got into a fight earlier. I hope she isn't a troublemaker.
"Are you looking at the wine stain ? "She smiles," well I just find out my boyfriend was cheating on me with a girl that looks like a celery stick."
I laugh out loud at her statement of celery stick but my reaction comes off as wolfish grin. But also my wolf growls at the thought of someone hurting this angel.I will kill that asshole!
" Of course,it was my fault for being stupid .I have always been bullied for something,"she sighs sadly.
My wolf whines when she goes to bed to sleep. I don't know why we aren't coordinated at this point because this lady isn't someone I want to sleep with.
"I'm sorry,you can come sleep with me ,"she smiles while patting the empty space next to her ," I have to figure out something with you tomorrow because my roommate will kill me when she sees you ! "
"Let's just sleep next to her," my wolf whispers.
I can't blame him. This new matebond is too strong to resist.
"Tomorrow morning we are leaving,"I roll my eyes at my wolf ," I can't afford to make a connection now,"
As soon as my fur brushes her skin,sparks tingle and my wolf purrs. Not only can I feel the mate bond but something begins to shift inside of me as I watch her fall deep asleep.There's something so strange about her aura which is calming my wolf and nothing calms him down.I don't think I can keep this form for much longer.
