The next day passed normally, I went to pick up the girls and Jamie and Sam from the school at 3:30 pm. The girls were sitting in the middle row of the van and the boys were in the back chatting away. Joel was in the passenger seat, he’d come with us because he didn’t want to be left alone in the house in case his father or Charlotte showed up again.
