Lucy looked at her daughter with a frown as Sophia explained that she was going to do family research. Lucy liked that Sophia was doing research but she remembered that her mother never let herself do research on the family. Victoria was so determined to keep their family history surrounded in an air of mystery. Lucy never found out the reason for that, sadly. Lucy remembered the time when Victoria would say, 'don't be digging up old skeletons'.
