The Robotic Shape Shifter

"C'mon toreli get up, you'll be late for school" I'm woken up by my stubborn mother jumping on my bed "uhhhhh five more minutes" I groan, she laughs "I have given you ten now get up" she jumps off my bed and leaves the room "fiiine" I roll out of bed and find my plain blue school T-shirt with the school logo on it, then put on some plain black leggings I make my way down staires to the bathroom and brush my long golden hair in the mirror, I decide to leave it out. We get in the car and head to school, it takes a long time to get to school "make sure you've got all your things, and have a good day" I look at my phone "ok I will" We get to school and she drops me off "have a good day sweetheart" she kisses my cheek "love you mum, bye" and with that she drives away. I hear someone call my name "TORELI! "I look over to see my best friend "Inira, what's up my girl"she hugs me tight "they sky the clouds the roof, duh" I laugh "funny" the bell rings, we sigh "maths" we say in unison before heading off. The rest of the day was fun, in hass class we learnt about the blood eagle ritual, in science we got to dissect small animals, in dance we got a new routine and in drama me and Inira won all the games then the school end bell rang, me and inira walked out of school and talked until our mothers picked us up, "bye inira" I said hugging her "cya bestie" I watched her wave as we left, now a long drive home. "How was your day surgerylay back in my seat "it was fun, I had a pretty good day" I turn to her "how was yours" she sighed "I had a tough day with your siblings and money, but other than that I'm ok" I lay back in my seat "good" she starts telling me jokes and I start telling her riddles we laughed and ran out of breath, these are the moments I treasured "are we nearly there yet" my mum looks at her watch still keeping her eyes on the road "ten minutes left" I looked at a truck infront of us slightly going off to the sides of the road and my mun slowed down a bit "is he ok" I ask looking into the side veiw mirror to see that the driver is turning around and trying to grab something in the back keeping his knees on the wheel "mum can you see him" she looks into the mirror "yeah I can, people like that get people killed on-" as I look at her I notice the truck start to spin out of control "MUM" she slams on the breaks then the truck driver tries to swerve to put the truck back on the road but turns to hard and the trailer skids with the truck as it flips and rolls, our car still trying to break but us too late the car goes under the flipping trailer and throws truck crushes the car, seeing it in slow motion the glass shatters and everything goes black. Two days later I wake up in a hospital bed with casts on my right knee, my left arm, my neck and my head I groan as the pain hits me like a bullet "ow" the doctor walks in "your awake" I adjust my eyes to the light"I think so" he walks over to me then it hits me "WHERE is my mum , the crash, I can't move" I start to hyperventilate the doctor carfully places a hard on my shoulder"its ok she's awake and fine just a broken arm and leg" i calm down "what about me" I ask his expression falls as he sighs "your...dieing" he said slowly I start to cry but don't carry on "but there is a way" I snap my eyes to him "how" he looks over my body "you have severe broken limbs that can't be replaced or regrown " I stare at him "like your brain" he said pointing to my head" oh my god" I start to cry" he looks at me "we can get you robotic limbs and a code in parts of your brain, but it can be fatal" I think weighing pros and cons it dosent matter right? I mean I'm going to die anyways so let's go with robotic "let's do it" he stares in shock "are you sure" I stare at him "ok" he calls in doctors and nurses in to take me to surgery.
