Chapter Nine She clung like a limpet to Adam’s back and he rode as if hell chased his heels back to where she’d parked her car. She’d managed to gather her gear and put it all back into its proper places in her camera backpack. Good thing she’d made sure she’d used the Velcro straps and adjusted the partitioned sides to keep everything in place. He hadn’t said a word, other than to order her to pack her gear. He’d stalked back into the hut, reappeared several seconds later with Mr Williams’s gear thrown into the Esky, all but shoved a helmet on her head, picked her up and placed her on the back of his bike.
