chapter 9

POV Lolita

After a long night of tossing and turning I woke and started my daily routine. Before I went for breakfast I made up my mind to run 5 miles to clear my head. When I came back I grabbed something to eat before head to my bathroom to take a long relaxing bath I really need this. It was around noon that I got a text from Lisa.

"When do come over ?"

me: " In a hour or two"

I just finished a light lunch before I relaxed for little bit. I pulled on my running gear and started to run to Lisa's place. I could already run loose my muscles because I know already that we don't gonna run the same miles that I'm used to. I arrived and pushed on the doorbell in not a second Lisa opened the door . She really looked like crap. " Hey Lisa everything alright ?".

"I'm fine just a little bit of a headache".

"That's you're own fault you where very drunk last night and I can imagine that you now have a hangover ".

" I luckily feel me much better then this morning "

I started to chuckle " You know your brother was really angry on me because you was really drunk that you even couldn't walk anymore.

"Oh crap I gonna talk with him I'm so sorry ".

" Thanks and btw I saw how you looked to Johnny".

"No no he is just a good friend."

"Fine if you say so. Are ready to go".

"Yeah let's go!".

We started to run on a realy slow pace and after two miles she was totally done with running .

"Lola I can not run anymore I can't " while breathing heavily.

"Fine we gonna walk back".

After we stretched we went inside. Then we heard Jake asking his mom where Lisa was. Before he could get a answer we walked inside the kitchen. Mr.moody had changed his attitude to his joyful self again. All he could do was stare at me it felt really akward. Luckily saw Lisa her mom what was happening and asked Lisa to bring me a T-shirt. Before I knew I started to blush. He stopped the staring session to ask me if we went for a run. "Duh otherwise we would not wear running gear " Lisa said. "Running did you call that running it was more like walking to me " I replied while laughing with her comment. " I never ever gonna run like you can" she said . " You can if you want and train for it and it goes even better when you don't have a hangover" I said trying to cheer her up.

My brother gonna be a better run buddy then I am isn't it Jake ?". " Are you in search of a run buddy?" Jake asked."Not really but is always nice to not run alone I hope you have a better pace then you sister " I don't why he is interested but as long he is Mr. Happy I'm glad. "Don't worry about me". So it's a deal?".

"A deal it is this is my phone number so we can arrange when we meet up" I said. " Lisa are you sure that you don't want to run anymore with me "I asked her "If you don't mind this is nothing for me" Lisa replied. "Dinner is ready" Lisa's mom said."

""I gonna go see you soon"

Don't leave eat dinner with us "she asked.

"Jake gonna bring you back home".

"Okay fine thank you".

We took our seat on the kitchen table and started to chat during dinner.

" Thanks for the nice dinner " I said.

"You're welcome" Lisa's mom replied.

"Jake if you don't mind can you bring me back home?".

"Of course Lola I put my stuff in the car after that we can leave ".

I said goodbye to Lisa and her mom at that moment Jake was also ready and said goodbye.

We took our seat in the car the moment he started the car his radio was playing loud rock music. He turned right away the radio of and said "I'm sorry ".

" Don't be sorry you can turn it back on I love this kind of music ".

He turned the radio straight away back on but on a lower tone.

After a few minutes he started to talk.

" Lola I'm so sorry for my outburst yesterday can you forgive me?"

" I  really did my best yesterday but she really didn't want to listen to me. I now my limits but your sister is a other case .

I can forgive you but please don't be angry again on me I can't take that s**t ."

" I promise I gonna try to not get angry on you again. I'm happy that we could clear the air. Can you meet me tomorrow evening around 6pm for a run ? If you want I can plan a running route .

"I'm glad you gonna try. No problem for me to do a run around 6 . I would love that you make a route I'm not used to this area . Is it okay that you make one of 10 miles?".

"Great I plan one and send you the details where we meet up ".

Before I knew we where already at my place I was really glad we had a normal conversation this time .

Around 3pm the next day. I got a text from Jake

Hi Lola

this is the address where we start our run I see you at 6

I prepared myself I thought to wear the same outfit like yesterday but instead of the grey colour a black outfit with a blue patern and blue running shoes.

I have quite a collection of shoes and training clothes that's the benefit to be sponsored by sport clothing brands.

I entered the adress in my GPS in my car to see it was a 20 min drive . I pulled on a parking lot and parked my car . I have stil 15 minutes to stretch my muscles before we start to run. After 5 minutes stretching  "Are you ready?"

"Yes I am we can go " I was still standing with my back turned to Jake .

The moment I turned around I stood still in shock. He stood their just in a grey sweat pants short and that was it. He stood their in his bare chest I thought already he had a good shaped body. But I didn't except a eight pack with a v-line. His body was perfectly shaped I knew already he had tattoo's on his arm but it didn't end there his back and front was covered with al kinds of tattoo's he looked so yummy.

" Are you ready with inspecting my body " he said with a smirk on his face.

"We can go " I said while blushing.

Oh god help me survive this.
