Chapter 57
Traci I awakened to water hitting me in the face. All I heard were babies screaming and rushing water. "MOMMY!" Kelis screamed making me snap out of it. I unbuckled my seat belt and turned backwards letting the water hit my back. "Kenny?!" I looked around for him. I screamed as the back door snatched open. Kenny My body was killing me. I couldn't feel one of my arms. I used the other to snatch open the door to the half-submerged vehicle. The back wheels were stuck over the rail, so it wasn't going anywhere, for now. When I opened the door, Nicole fell out in the water. I dragged her towards the rail with my good arm. I laid her on the wet sand as she stared up into the sky. I gently closed her eyes.
