‘’You do know today Ella turns 21 years right’’ Says Mrs. Delia?

Yes, I do Says Mr. Eugen. It will start tonight.

Where is Ella now?

She is at the University at the moment says Mrs. Delia.

And where are Chloe and Zoe?

Mrs. Delia says they are preparing for the party at the Club.

Later that evening before the girls prepare to leave for the party at the club all excited and happy, Mr and Mrs Corey give Ella her birthday present.

Ella opens her birthday present with excitement. She unwraps the gift and sees a small velvet box. She opens the box and sees a gold pendant with a quartz crystal. It’s beautiful.

Mr. Eugen takes it from her hand and puts it on her neck. It will render all negative energies impotent, it will dissolve enchantments and spells, and it also destroys all kinds of black magic.

Seriously dad Black Magic???? Says Ella.

Do not joke Ella says Mrs. Delia.

This is a family Heirloom and has been passed down the family line to the oldest daughter on her 21st Birthday. Your great grandmother and your aunt have also worn it. Ella sense her father getting emotional and promises never to take it off.

The doorbell rings and Its Abagail White, Ella’s best friend.

Abagail greets Mr and Mrs Corey and give Ella a hug wishing her a Happy Birthday.

The girls have been together since Kindergarten.

Mr and Mrs Corey sigh and send them off happily but worried to the core.

Mr. Eugen removes his phone and makes a call. They have left please watch over them. Be her shadow and do not lose sight even for a moment and disconnects the call.

Mr. Eugen gives Mrs. Delia a hug and tells her not to worry.

On the other end of the call the Mysterious figure takes the instructions and disconnects the call.

Inside the club they party with their friends and are having a good time as a Mysterious figure looms in the shadows.

On tequila shot after another is how the party goes on.

Ella goes to the bar to get a bottle of water when a lady looks at her and says Carissa…. Hi.

Am sorry says Ella I think you have me confused with someone else.

No, says the lady you are Carissa Corey.

Ella now sees where this was coming from. She says Carissa Corey was my aunt.

Oh says the lady. I was wondering why Carissa would be refusing to be recognised. I forgot to put the age factor because she would have been exactly my age.

But you are a spitting image of her when she was young.

She passed on says Ella.

Chloe, Zoe and Abagail wave to Ella from across the dance floor to join them.

See you my love says Helen again signalling the bartender for a refill.

As Ella walks towards Chloe, Zoe and Abagail as another man passes by her to join Helen at the bar.

Drake Mavros joins Helen at the bar. Take a good look at her, she is the one. She is wearing the Pendant and to top it all up she is a spitting image of Carissa and her grandmother. God these Corey women they do possess a unique quality in beauty. It’s like they are given the beauty on a silver platter.

The bartender serves her the shot.

This time round we cannot afford to fail. The Corey’s are one of the first families who have been safe keeping it for many centuries. Our focus shall not shift otherwise we will not get another chance to obtain it. We need to leave for my dad’s mansion now to pass on this information. She downs her shot pays and leaves the club with Drake following behind her.

The mysterious figure still looming in the shadows sees everything.

After the party Ella walks out the club behind Chloe and Zoe. Everyone is happy and saying their goodbyes and what a splendid time they had.

As they wait for the car Ella sees a figure running towards her screaming and set ablaze Help Me! Help Me! and it passes through her body and vanishes. Ella fells dizzy and she is about to fall and the mysterious figure holds her before she can fall. Ella faints. The girl’s get worried and try to help her up. But Ella is completely unconscious. The mysterious figure helps Zoe and Chloe put Ella in the car as Abagail holds the car door and asks to drive them home. Chloe refuses to take his help not allowing an unknown stranger drive them home. She politely thanks him for his assistance and declines his help. She gets behind the wheel and drives home.

The mysterious figure calls Mr. Eugen and updates him on the situation and assures him that he will follow them home. Once the girls are settled he requests Mr. Eugen to spare him a few minutes to talk.
