Ødegaard

The knock became very persistent. Loud and unbearable. He turned restlessly on his matress. Suddenly, the door broke open and a sharp breeze boomed in. It was accompanied by the loud rush of thunderstorms and the blazing rainfall. The breeze put out the candlelight on his table. A tall figure appeared at the door of the dark room. It sent cold shivers around his spine. He jerked ebuliently to his feet. The glass flower vase on his table fell on the floor and shattered into pieces. 'who are you' , his voice trembled. The figure pulled the door behind and bolted it. 'i need your help, please ' . The voice whispered. Ødegaard quickly fetched his lamp and ignited it. He studied the lady for a while. Her hair was almost half her hieght and it covered her face. Her dress was wet and the drips formed pools on the floor around her bare feet. Ødegaard hovered the lamp to her face but she looked away. ' can I see your face ' he demanded regaining himself a bit. The lady swiped at her hair and smiled. her silver colored eyes glittered under the yellow light. Ødegaard, a bit satisfied ushered her to the fireplace. He lit the fire. The lady sat on one of the couches silently as Ødegaard covered her with a blanket. ' where do you come from ' he said finally while he sat down. He poured vodka into a small tumbler and offered to her. the lady hesitated for a long time. ' Anika ' she sighed heavily ' my name is Anika . I come from a city very far away from here ' she paused and glanced at Ødegaard . the latter held his patience still gazing at her. ' I ran away from that city ' she squeezed her dress in an effort to dry out the water that dropping from it. ' they gave me a curse ' she smiled again Ødegaard got to his winter jacket. he dipped his hand in it and fished out a special necklace. he turned to her. Does this belong to you ma'am" . he laughed . She froze in fear and perplexity. ' you are a sea creature ' Anika cowered. her eyes were fixed to his in amazement. ' what mission brought you here ' he asked calmly. ' it's the Iris. He sent me on a mission to kill a man named Azure. the man from Meszoi . ' Ødegaard filled with awe Drew his dagger. ' why?' he thundered. ' he will be the only one to save Dyrrham from a war in the future. and the war designed to send the Durvs to extinction. ' she said. Ødegaard's temperament was excaliating and he couldn't hold himself any longer. ' who is waging the war ' ' the Expavians came to us with there hundred tons of gold and asked we grant them the power to rule over all the nations of Dyrrham . the promised to serve us .
