Their Secret (Part 2)

Jarred's POV

I walked over to the Alpha and Luna and sat down on the bench opposite of them.

"Can I ask you two a question?" I said, knowing I was going to ask it anyway.

"Yes Alpha, you may. How can we help you? Is there something the matter?" Says Alpha Mark. He has no clue that I'm about to blindside them.

"Why are you hiding a she-wolf under the ground where no one can see her? Also, where is the door to her chambers? She has to be able to get in and out somehow?" As I said this, they went as pale as pale can get. They started to frantically looking around before finally looking back at me.

"What would make you think that we had a she-wolf under the ground?" The Alpha asked more in a shocked tone, then in a curious questioning one.

"The fact that my Beta can hear her snoring right below him. Oh, and I can smell her. Also, your Luna also kinda gave it away by looking at the ground right below my feet every time I mention your daughter." I say, trying to stay calm and not rip their heads off.

"Great going Sarah! Now he knows about the mole! We better just let it out of its hole! We mideswell just give her to him too while we are at it! There goes our Stain and slave! You couldn't just look somewhere else or maybe soundproff her dang room! God Dang it Sarah, this has ruined everything!" He screams at his Luna all while storming off towards my Beta.

OK, Alpha, I'm ready if he tries anything.

Good I'm on my way too. I'm betting that girl is my mate, and I'm going to get to her before he does.

He walks over to my Beta and gestures for him to step aside. He moves out of the Alphas way for him to do what he is doing. He bends down and presses in on a part of the ground and it lifts. He pulls up at the door and steps back. He turns around and gestures with his hand for me to go in.

"She is down there. She can't talk. She will also be very scared. Most Alphas use her for what they want and then leave her there to heal. She was forced to do everything around here and if she didn't do it right she gets beaten. She has never been to school, so she knows nothing about the mate subject either. I will explain the rest of her story later after you get her out of her mole hole." He says sadly as if he knew what was going on but never liked it or wanted it to happen to her. But he never did anything to stop them either.

"I TOLD YOU TO NEVER TELL OR SHOW ANYONE HER! WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE MADE YOU ALPHA. YOU MUTT! YOUR FATHER IS just AS WEAK AS YOU!" Sarah yelled at her son like he was some stray dog who never belonged there. Alpha mark was just standing behind his wife with his head down looking ashamed.

"NO MOM SHE DESERVES BETTER SHE ALWAYS HAS. YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER SWAPPED THE GIRLS WHEN THEY WERE BABIES. YOU SHOULD OF JUST LET HER REAL FAMILY TAKE HER HOME. SHE HAS HAD A HORRIBLE LIFE BECAUSE OF YOU. NOW THAT IM ALPHA SHE CAN HAVE A FRESH START NOT LIKE IT WILL MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE SHE IS PROBABLY SCARED FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. SHE HAS SO MUCH TO LEARN. THAT SHE WOULDN'T OF HAD TO LEARN IF SHE JUST WENT WITH HER REAL FAMILY. I HAVE SEEN EMMA SHE HAS A GREAT LIFE A PERFECT LIFE. NOW ALL OF THAT IS ABOUT TO BE RIPPED AWAY FROM HER. HOW DO YOU THINK SHE IS GOING TO FEEL ABOUT THIS. SHE IS GOING TO BE SO ANGRY. SO HURT." He yells at her like he doesn't even know her. He truly seems hurt by his mother's actions, and he's trying to make it all right now. Too bad that he's probably right, though this girl is going to need a lot of help. I walked around him and climbed down the ladder on the wall.

"Hello, I don't want to scare you, but it's really hard to see down here. Could you please come into the light?" I heard a movement to my left, so I turned, and was met by a beautiful girl. She's dirty though. That will have to be one of the first things I teach her. "You are very beautiful. Please come with me. I am your mate and will keep you safe from those who have hurt you. I won't hurt you. I promise." I hold out my hand and left it there for what felt like forever before she decided that she could trust me and took my hand. I led her toward the ladder when she pulled on my arm and tried to back away. "Hey your ok love. It's OK." I said. I looked at her other arm that is now covering her face, and realize that it's not that she's scared, but it's that the light is too bright. I am so glad i keep sunglasses in the car.

Dom, go grab my sunglasses.

Yes Alpha

I heard him run to the car and get her the sunglasses. This girl could hear everything. It didn't matter if the door was open or shut her senses would have doubled just to protect her.

Here alpha I'm tossing them down. What way do I need to toss them?

Toss them to the left. The light outside is too bright. She doesn't get out much. That's very clear.

I caught the sunglasses and move her arm very gently. I then put the sunglasses on her face. We walked toward the light and this time she didn't pull back. She keeps going all the way up and out.

"Here, give me your hand." Dom says to the girl. "I'll help you the rest of the way out." He holds out his hand for my mate to take it. She flinches away at first, but then hesitantly grabs it. "There you go. Do you need anything? What is your name?" He asks. He always tries so hard to make sure everyone is taken care of. I'm so glad that he is my Beta. Just wait till she meets the Gamma. She is worse than he is. Good thing she is his mate.

Dom she can't talk. She was never taught how. We have a lot of work cut out for us. Starting with a shower. She needs some clothes and good pampering.

Oh, right. I forgot. Of course Alpha, I will go get her some clothes.

Thank you Dom. It means a lot to me. You are always there when I need you to be, and now you will be here for her too.

"You have a lot of explaining to do. But first, what is her name? Her real name. Not the one you call her." I said, trying to keep it together. I hate these people for what they have done to her. She deserves to be waited on and treated like a queen, not stomped into the earth like she's the dirt we walk on.

"Her name is Kerah. It's the name her real parents gave her. That's why she is always hidden. Mainly when her pack visits here or when a pack that is close to her pack visits." The new Alpha said. Looking at his mother like he is going to kill her right here and now.

"Thank you. I'm going to go take care of my mate now. Have a great night and send dinner to our room please." I said, turning around and walking away while holding her hand.
