Anticipate, don’t react.” Lyra moved with fluid precision, her dark eyes calm, analyzing every move. “I’m ready,” she said, steady and confident. “Not yet,” Matteo said. “Patience is your greatest weapon. Anger can kill, but it can also blind you. Never let it rule your mind.” Every day, they practiced combat, strategy, and observation. Every night, they studied the De Santis family from afar, mapping schedules, noting weaknesses, and memorizing details. Knowledge became their deadliest weapon, sharper than any blade. One evening, Matteo pulled them aside. “Your target: the De Santis family. Two sons. Luca… calm, calculating, precise. His brother Matteo… impulsive, dangerous, unpredictable. You will approach carefully. Strike at the right time.” Elara’s eyes burned with determination. “We’ll watch, learn, and strike when the time is right.
