Chapter 4 - Why does it have to be you?

*The Moore's*

Justin sat in his room balcony looking at the next neighbours as they loaded their things into the truck, his eyes fixated on a girl around his age. As if sensing his eyes on her, she looked up at him as they stared at each other she noticed that his gaze had gone flat, stripped of all the usual sharp intelligence. She sighed and then looked away.

Justin felt a phantom ache in the center of his chest, a bruising that wouldn't show up on any X-ray. He got up and went into his room and layed on his bed recalling the beautiful moments he had shared with her, her smile, her voice, the way she carried herself, he'd never believe that they would end up as strangers.

*The Walton's*

Jenna sat in her room making a phone call with her friend

"Wait a minute..what do you mean by you are moving?. Life was so much better with you across the street...are we still going to walk to school every day?...ugh! this year seems cursed" Lizzy groaned in frustration.

They had been best friend since middle school, Lizzy was dumb and Jenna was smart except her smartness made her classmates dislike her, she was too lively and active it made her look uncool. The only person who wanted to be her friend was Lizzy and they had lived across each other for years so it felt different hearing that they were moving

"it's really frustrating but my dad got a new job and they gave him a house and a car and the company insists that he lives in the house cause it's closer to his workplace" Jenna said holding her head with her hand

"No offence but your father's company are sick in the head...so where is this house located?" Lizzy asked

"it's two streets away " Jenna replied

"Two streets away?!!" Lizzy almost screamed

"Yeah I know it's so annoying "Jenna said her eyes tearing up

"Wait..is the the dandi street?"Lizzy asked her tone being a bit sharp

"yeah why?" Jenna asked

"omg girl... Justin literally lives there"Lizzy gasped

"WHAT?!" Jenna screamed. She couldn't believe it, it was from one nightmare to another. She literally hated him now, he got on her nerves so bad that she wished she could just take a scissors and design that cute face of his

Lizzy moved the phone away from her ear "Jesus relax.... it's just the street it's not like your gonna live next to him" Lizzy said rolling her eyes

"you don't understand... it's the fact that we live in the same street, there is definitely going to be plenty of chances that we would meet and I don't want that to happen"Jenna said feeling extremely angry

"Just relax okay...you might get to meet other celebrities there too you know..I heard dandi street was full with teenage celebrities...you living there literally makes you a celebrity " Lizzy giggled

"Ha-ha...so funny " Jenna said but I'd laugh

"so when do you leave?" Lizzy asked

"Saturday morning...my mom had already packed most of the stuffs"Jenna said

"oh no..does that mean our girls might is cancelled?"Lizzy asked pouting her lips

"I guess so..but look on the bright side, you could always come here for sleepovers "Jenna said trying to lift their moods up

"Yeah right...and I'll only be coming because I might meet Taylor swift or Avery monroe "Lizzy said and they both laughed, they kept chatting until Vanessa called Jenna down for dinner.

*Saturday morning*

Lizzy hugged Jenna tightly sobbing " I can't believe your leaving" she cried

Gloria rolled her eyes "it's just two streets away you can walk there dumbass"she said as she carried some boxes into the van

Lizzy paid her no attention and only focused on Jenna "I'm going to miss you" Jenna said

"I'll miss you too" Lizzy replied and they hugged again until it was time for the van to move, they all said their goodbyes and got into the van and drove off

As they drove into the street, they all looked out the window in awe "Dad?..your company has taste tho" Sydney said taking pictures of the houses as they passed by . After few minutes of driving they finally got to the house and Jenna had to admit that was way bigger and prettier than their old house

This house was a safe, high-value investment, representing the kind of life bought and maintained by careful adherence to a community standard.

"oh look we have new neighbours " a sharp voice called out as they got down from the car

"Hi you must be our neighbour " Vanessa said smiling as she extended her hand to the woman for a handshake, the woman happily shook her hand "it's nice to finally meet you, you must be Mr and Mrs Walton" the woman said smiling brightly

"Yes" Joe Walton answered as he shook the woman's hand

"That's lovely and this must be your kids" the woman said as she looked at the three girls her eyes slowly falling on Jenna

Jenna felt a uncomfortable from a gaze but she didn't show it rather she wore a smile and extended out her hand to the woman for a handshake and the woman shook her hand "What's your name pretty girl?" the woman asked

"My name i Jenna Ma'am" Jenna answered politely and withdrew her hand

"Lovely..you know I have a son of your age maybe, he's really cute he goes to Boston high" the woman said

"oh really, that's a coincidence, she also goes to Boston high" Vanessa spoke up

"Seriously? well done you perhaps know my son?" the woman asked

Jenna's heart skipped a beat a the mention of the woman's son, Lizzy already told her that the demon in human form (Justin) already lived in the street , what are the odds that this was his mother

"What is your son's name if I may ask?" Jenna asked her heart pounding she just hoped it wasn't that demon

"Justin Moore"the woman finally dropped the bomb

Jenna almost fell to her knees, her face was pale 'Why? Why does it have to be him? and we are even Neighbours??, what sort of a nightmare is this?...I wanna wake up from this hell... someone help me wake up Please 'jenma cried in her head

"Did someone call my name?" a deep voice called out from behind the woman and as soon as Jenna saw who it was she wished the ground could open up and swallow her "Why does it have to be you?" she asked loudly
