Chapter 2 -This is War

By lunch time the whole school already knew about Justin Moore, the cutest guy in grade 12. Most girls had already known about his i********: and shared it amongst themselves.

"That's Justin Moore, the Justin Moore...son of Leonard Moore who is the owner of the SA&SH fashion brand which they named after their first daughter Sasha moore...Omg" Lizzy, Jenna's best friend said as she scrolled through his i********: page

"Why are you stalking him?"Jenna asked indifferently "Uh...why aren't you stalking him... every single girls in school are"Lizzy said not taking her eyes of the phone

"I don't know...maybe it's because I'm not into those type of stuffs" Jenna said as they got to her locker "Jenna" Lizzy called out finally looking at her "It's the last year of highschool...and I think it'll be cool if we make the best out of it...soon we're gonna go to college and we would have separate lives, different jobs and all...this is the last year we might get to spend real quality time with each other and by that I mean...no more comics...no more sitting around with books and being introverted..come out..do that stuff you've always wanted to do...stand up for yourself...we have to make the best out of it.. together " Lizzy advised as she held Jenna's hand

Jenna sighed "Fine...meet me after school, let's go get ice-cream" she said smiling "Great" Lizzy exclaimed excitedly

Back in class, as the teacher taught, most of them were already fast asleep, some were just staring at her not understand what she was really saying. Lizzy was already fast asleep at the back of Jenna, while Jenna sat up straight listening attentively to the teacher "Now, who can explain the wave particle duality of light using a simple example like the photoelectric effect?" the teacher asked. Jenna raised her hand, the teacher looked at her and smiled "Jenna, I know your smart I need another person to answer this one" the teacher said , she knew that when it came to physics, Jenna was really brilliant and in other subjects too but physics was her favourite

"I can answer it " a deep voice from echoed through the classroom causing most people to jolt up, it was truly shocking because everyone knew Jenna was the class smartest student hearing another person trying to answer a question felt...wrong "Wow that's new, Justin why don't you come up here and answer the question for us" the teacher smiled brightly. Jenna looked at him in shock 'Not only his he cute but smart too...what does this mean?" she thought to herself as she looked at him

Justin cleared his throat" Wave-particle duality means light acts as both a wave (like water waves) and particles (called photons), and the photoelectric effect proves this: light hits metal, knocking electrons off, but only if the light's frequency (color) is high enough (particle-like), not just its intensity (brightness). " as soon as he finished speaking a sound of applause echoed

"Impressive ... just impressive" Lizzy said as she clapped for him and the others joined too "The boys in the class really need to learn from him" some girls whispered to their selves

Sofia on the other hand bit her lip as she looked at Justin, ever since he set foot into the classroom, she already has her eyes on him but he didn't even glance at her. Justin on the other hand stood there proudly before he cast a proud look at Jenna. Jenna slightly gasped as soon as her eyes met his 'Why his he staring at me like that?..." she was really confused 'Hm... because he's cute and smart he thinks he can't beat me when it comes to physics...oh just you wait Justin...wait for me!' Jenna said smirking. Justin was raised an eyebrow 'This is war' he said to himself
