CHAPTER ONE 1⃣ Arianna's (Point Of View ) Ding! Ding!! Ding!!! I opened my eyes I hit the snooze button on the alarm then I finally realised that my alarm woke me up not the regular spanking or the cold water my mom splashes on my face anytime she screams until her throat burns, Yep that's right I'm a really deep sleeper and I was used to either my mom screaming for me to wake up or the drops of cold water my mom uses to wake me up me waking up with my alarm sincerely means today ain't gonna be my day Arianna! mom I'm awake I said lazily then get up and get dressed for school she said then I heard her footsteps fading after 5 good minutes of looking at my closet door I finally stood up I went straight to my closet picked my clothes then went into the bathroom to do my morning business after 50 mins I finally left my room. when I got downstairs another different flower was on the vase, I still don't know my mom's stalker that maid her get eight different flower vases she put one in my room, one in her room, one beside the TV three in the horizontal dinning table and one on the circular dinning table oh I forgot she also had one in her office I shook my head and sigh can't wait to meet my mom's stalker, then I passed the dinning room and went straight to the kitchen. My mom was so focused in cooking she didn't notice me when I came in so i sneaked behind her I wrapped my hands around her waist then greater Good morning Mama She screamed so loud the frying pan almost fell out of her hands because of fear. Arianna are you crazy I almost peed in my pants because of that little stunt of yours don't you ever try that again. Yes mom I'm very sure get out of my kitchen now and go set the table yes mom I replied om my way our of the kitchen my eyes sighted a sausagke I looked back to make sure mom wasn't looking but and she wasn't so I guess that's my chance Just as my hand came down to take the sausage I wince in pain because my sweet mom over here just used her pestle to hit my palm. what did I just say you said I should leave your kitchen then what are you still doing here I guess that was my cue to leave I ran out of the Immediately I left the kitchen I let out a breath I didn't even realise I was holding. Few minutes later Finally I was done setting the table just in time for my mom to come out of the kitchen with a tray full of food I help her put then we sat down, we served our food did a short prayer then finally started eating. halfway through breakfast I was disturbed by the sound of clicking utensils I looked up to see my mom hitting the fork absentmindedly on the plate she looked liked she was deep in thought Mom! Mom!! Mom!!! no reply MOMMM!!! I shouted she flinched then asked what the butt Ari? why did you shout ummm maybe because I called you gently and you didn't answer Mom why aren't you eating I asked of course I'm eating she stuffed her face with a pancake to prove her point mom you and I know you are not eating, what are you thinking about so deeply that made you loose your appetite I asked genuinely concerned Nothing Ari I'm thinking about nothing she said nervously so why are you not eating I'm eating Ari, she said but you're not I reply she then stuff her mouth with another pancake but this time there was a sausage in it, see, see, see I'm eating she said with her mouth full Fine I give up I said seems like she wasn't ready to tell me what she was thinking about and I didn't want to pressure her she would tell me when she's ready when I was finally done eating I looked at my mom to see that she hadn't touched her food after our little chat. I took my plates to the kitchen I washed them on my way out of the kitchen I opened the fridge and took out my favourite chocolate yogurts when I got to the dinning mom wasn't there anymore I went to the sitting room and she was right there relaxing andsipping a cup of coffee, when she noticed my presence she patted beside her for me to sit and I did wondering why. Arianna promise me that no matter what I say you wouldn't shut me out for more than two days and let me explain she said why would I promise that without knowing the gravity of what you're about to say mom I said calmly please Arianna then it finally hit me this is the second time mom called me Arianna, Momma rarely calls me Arianna she only calls me that whenever we are going to have a vey serious conversation or if I do something wrong she usually calls me Ari or purple angle because my favourite colours where white and purple while my friends calls me Anna. okay mom I promise Arianna he proposed she said her voice low I didn't quite hear you I said shocked Arianna I'm engaged she said her voice louder my jaw literally dropped when I saw a glistening gold diamond ring that screamed money I wasn't any expert in hold and diamonds but I knew it was real I shook my head at my thoughts no wonder she had been secretive for the past Six months with the late night calls the flowers the cards attached to the flowers and everything I remembered the night I woke up.to get some water because the water In my mini fridge had run out I I forgot to refill it, I met Momma in the sitting room and she was talking to someone on the phone and was seriously brushing, her face was as red as a tomato Mom who.are you talking to by this time of the night I asked un a sleepy voice shocked to hear my voice she hanged up quickly ummm Ari why are you here she asked nervously trying to change the topic my stock of water has finished so I decided to get some downstairs I said still sleepy so who are you talking to I asked again A patient in the hospital she replied quickly her left eye twitching meaning she was lying Momma could lie to anyone but me she had never for once succeded because her left eye always rwitch when she tries to lie to me. so is the patient somehow relayed to the the stalker who keeps sending you flowers I asked suspiciously No no no she said en hn I said not believing a word that came out of her mouth.
