Why the hell did I find it difficult to leave her, walking back into the party makes me feel like s**t Dee should be here. I've been questioned by Paige and Sarah about why Dee went home but after a quick message conversation between Sarah and Dee they eased off and Paige even gave me Dees number but only after being warned if I do anything to hurt Dee I'll be wearing my balls as earrings, pulling my phone out my pocket I send a quick message to Dee

"Goodnight buttercup"

I laugh wondering how mad she is going to go when she realises I've got her number but my phone chimes.

"I'll kill Paige, but good night my secret gentleman" I laugh loudly at her response getting a couple of funny looks but I ignore it and type out another message.

"Sshh keep my secret and I'll keep yours ;)"

"And what secret is that Mr James Brewer" I'm shocked but pleasantly surprised that I like her calling me that.

"That you are a secret ninja" damn this message conversation has me laughing so much my ribs hurt and to top it all coach is making his way but my phone pings.

"Ssshhhhhh, I've just laughed so hard I choked on my latte, once Adam builds my pool I'm gonna push you in." I spray my mouthful of beer all over the table and can't control my laughing.

"f**k, my main man has got it bad" Coach laughs as I try to wipe up the spilled beer the cheeky fucker read the messages.

"s**t, there's no such thing as privacy with you around is there?" He chuckles

"Nope. I just wanted to see what had you giggling like a school girl." I punch him in the arm and we laugh "Look man, you should know she's been through a lot of s**t but I'm glad you're both having a laugh

" he pats my shoulder before walking over to his wife, what the hell did he mean by 'she's been through a lot'? I type another message to Dee.

"Damn, you should watch how you word things. For starters I've got images of you choking on something else and secondly I'll let you push me in because I'll pull you in with me." I sit grinning like a f*****g i***t.

"Oh f**k off, I've just wasted the last of my latte it now covers the breakfast bar and you will have to catch me first to pull me in the pool with you."

"You need to swallow more ;) and don't worry about me catching you baby I'm as quick as lightning."

"Oh my days, we are not doing this! Good night Mr Brewer, pleasant dreams."

"Good night baby, I'll definitely have pleasant dreams because you will be present in each and every one of them. Dream of me."

Another hour goes past and most people have left, Myself, Kyle and Paige have tidied up.

"You two can crash in the guest room if ya like, I'm off to bed."

"Cheers bud, see you in the morning."

The sound of dishes clattering wake me up, glancing at my phone it's nine in the morning, jumping out of bed I take a quick shower and dress quickly in my grey sweatpants and black top.

The domestic picture that faces me when I reach the lounge makes me smile, Kyle and Paige are loading the dishwasher and cleaning the kitchen.

It's ten when Katie, Adam and my baby niece show up, after spending some time chatting with them I fire off a message to Dee.

"Good morning buttercup, you ready for visitors?" Almost instantly i get a response

"Good morning James, yes I am. The gate at the back is unlocked." Her response makes me laugh.

Dee

I've been up since five after a restless night I showered and dressed in my cream knit off the shoulder sweater dress which reaches mod thigh and slipped into my black heeled thigh high boots I've also straightened my hair and applied some make-up.

Block and his brother in law are coming round soon as well as Paige and Kyle who crashed at Blocks. I'm in the kitchen with the patio doors open when I hear the gate opening my stomach fills with butterfly's.

Stepping outside I'm shocked by the sight that greets me, well shocked is one way to describe it but another way is drooling, Block stands cradling a tiny newborn baby who has a pink blanket over her.

"Ah there she is, Katie, Adam this is Dee, Dee this is my sister Katie, her husband Adam and this is my niece Faith" s**t he looks so f*****g hot with a white baseball cap, black top which stretches over his chest and arms and the tattoo designs on his arms finish me off.

"Hi, nice to meet you." I walk over and Adam and Katie both pull me into a hug then I make my way over to Block and Faith taking a look at her she's so cute, she has her uncles blue eyes, I stroke her cheek.

"She's absolutely beautiful, how old is she is?" Katie beams with pride.

"She's nine days old." She gushes.

After explaining to Adam what I'm looking for him, Block and Kyle survey the grounds while Paige, Katie and I head over to the deck to drink our lattes, and we jump into conversation which ends with me holding baby Faith, cradling her in my arm she wriggles and I recognise the cue instantly and place her against my shoulder gently rubbing her back with one hand and cradling her but with the other hand. The lads reappear and Kyle and Adam head inside to make drinks while Block stands in front of us staring directly at me and his niece.

"You alright James? Looks like you've seen a ghost." Katie laughs and Paige giggles, I try not to laugh as I don't want to disturb Faith.

"Erm- eh- yeah I'm fine." He mumbles making the girls laugh even more, when Adam and Kyle join us with fresh lattes

"Aww, how cute. You're good with babies Dee, how the hell did you get her to sleep like that?" Adam laughs.

"I was raised with a full house and I was the oldest except my brother Ben, so I pretty much raised the younger ones, and as for Faith she's an amazing little one." I smile. Suddenly my phone pings I pick it up off the table being extra careful, I open the message from Block:

"How the f**k do you look even hotter with a baby in your arms?" I laugh but quickly stop as Faith stirs but soon settles again.

"I don't look as good as you did when you were holding her ;)" I watch his face as he reads the message and his jaw goes slack before he laughs, I put my phone back on the table ignoring the ping.

After a while I place Faith who is still fast asleep into her carrycot and pick up my phone

"Oh so I'm hot now? Maybe I should offer to babysit her and you could help me ;)" I laugh choking on my latte, I look up to find Block grinning like a maniac which makes me laugh even more but I try to glare at him.

After talking designs and timescales with Adam, who has decided him and his team can start tomorrow, Kyle and Paige leave as they are going to his parents for lunch.

"I don't suppose you could watch Faith for a few hours for us while we go and finally get some grocery shopping done?" Katie beams at me and I look to Block who quickly turns around and laughs, that bastard! I sink my teeth into my lip to stop myself from laughing.

"Yeah sure, have you got bottles, powder, and stuff for a diaper change?" I ask trying not to laugh.

"Yeah all in this diaper bag, she is due a bottle in around thirty minutes but if she doesn't wake just leave it until she wakes up, and thank you so much." Katie smiles brightly.

Katie and Adam leave quickly and I check Faith who is still fast asleep, I push her inside and Block just stands at the door smiling.

"You just gonna stand there or are you coming in?" I grin at him.

"Well since you so nicely pointed out I'm a gentleman so I was waiting to be asked."

"Faith is your niece and I'm pretty sure your sister would want you to stay with me after all I am a stranger." I smirk and he laughs

"Aw, you want me to stay, thats so sweet."

"Shut it you and make yourself useful, the coffee machine is there." I point with my head and he laughs

"Sure thing, boss"

"Boss eh? I like that." I smirk. Putting the break on the pram, I walk back into kitchen to see Block looking confused he turns to a unit and I walk behind him close enough to make him jump when I point to the unit above his head.

"Cups and glasses are in there." I laugh.

"f*****g hell, you really shouldn't creep up on a man like that."

"It's hardly creeping when my heels are echoing throughout, you were just to busy trying to find cups." I laugh moving away and rest the small of my back against the breakfast bar I turn quickly to look over the bar at Faith who still sleeps soundly, I turn around but instead of being by myself I'm met by those eyes staring down at me, he's close too close.

"Dee?" Paiges voice comes from behind us, Block moves back slightly turning around, Paige stands at the patio doors, s**t I don't know whether that bad timing or great timing, suddenly Faiths little cry has me jumping of the bar stool and sprinting into the lounge.
