Dee I wait at the door of my new home, I had given up hope of finding a modern farm house to buy after her move to Seattle from Washington but thankfully my realtor pulled this out of the bag at the last minute, and now I stand waiting for the delivery van to arrive with my belongings. I takes this time to look across the three acres of land which is home to my newly renovated farm house which is spread across two floors the large foyer and hall has two doorways the first one leads into the lounge with oak flooring and log burning fire is open into the large kitchen and dining area the black granite units are finished off with white doors and chrome handles and is home to a large eight ring hob unit and two integrated ovens along with dishwasher and a large American fridge freezer and the other large glass door leads into a huge empty room with oak flooring and has floor to ceiling windows which overlook some land and the one and only neighbours land and driveway. My best friend Paige moved to Seattle six months ago to work as a personal assistant to the manager of The Red Socks, Seattles home ice hockey team, the breakup with my ex Lee affected me in ways I vowed never to date past or present playboys hence the conversation with Paige who managed to convince me to make the big move, Paige had even secured me a interview for The Red Socks for the position of 'travel manager' which I am definitely qualified for as my previous job had been a cruise travel manager meaning I would be reliable for the travel, accommodation and any problems for upto five hundred people per trip. The sound of vans rumbling down the back road towards my land brought me around to the present, when I see the three large vans I giggled, and remember the call from the removal company "Miss Hayes, we are calling to advise you that we will need to use upto three large vans to relocate your belongings" I obviously agreed instantly not wanting to leave anything behind. The men got of the vans and had a brief look at layout of my new house so they knew where the belongings needed to go. After three hours of gruelling hard work rearranging all of the stuff the movers brought in I knew I had to start unpacking, the kitchen would be the first room as I wanted her coffee maker. Within an hour I had the latte, unpacked all my kitchen essentials and started in the lounge where the movers had put my large 52inch television on the wall and tuned it in for me, the large black overstuffed corner settee was placed in the center of the room facing the television meaning my back would be to the large windows. Paige knew I was going to have a busy day unpacking so she picked up a pizza and some wine and was now sat at the breakfast bar talking animatedly about her new boyfriend who happens to be the right wing for The Red Socks. "I'm not joking Dee, Kyle is like a f*****g god" she giggled making me laugh, Paige was known for only dating extremely hot guys "Seriously though hon, you will do fine at your interview tomorrow and Sarah who will be interviewing you is so nice she is married to the team coach Ryan." I appreciated the support and the insight "Thanks babe, it means a lot, but even if I don't get it I won't have to take another job for a while, Now I've got to choose an outfit for tomorrow" at this statement Paige jumped of the stool and headed up to my bedroom this could only mean one thing Paige was going to make me try on at least five different outfits I laughed and proceeded up the stairs. The next morning came around too quickly Paige ended up falling asleep on the sofa last night meaning she was going to need to borrow some of my clothes for work, I had showered and dried my hair by six and was making coffee and bagels for us both when Paige toddled into the kitchen and plopped herself on the barstool "Why oh why do you insist on being up so early?" I laughed at Paiges grumbling "because I'm a morning person and it's beautiful out so we are eating breakfast on the deck." I laughed when Paige rolled her eyes. We had finished breakfast and had already had three cups of coffee "I'm not in until ten as the team get back from their away game around then, so do you want to come in with me and you can wait in the lounge for half an hour? I'm sure Sarah hasn't got any early appointments which means she might see you early." I nod feeling slightly nervous. As I stand in front of the mirror applying my makeup and checking out the outfit I picked out last night I chose a white shirt top three buttons undone letting my large breasts breathe, the black pencil skirt sits just above my knees and the black stilettos make my legs look even longer "Woah, you would already have the job if it was any of the men interviewing you" Paige laughs, I roll my eyes but laugh along as we make our way to the cars, Paige goes first offering to stop at Starbucks for an iced latte for them both. When I arrives at The Red Socks HQ I parks her black Audi TT and cut the ignition to wait for Paige and it only takes a few minutes for her best friend to arrive, getting out of the car I rest on the hood of my car and Paige joins me handing me a large Starbucks cup and straw. "So what do you think of it then?" Paige notices that I'm staring at the building "I'm nervous, yes you heard it here first. I'm f*****g nervous" Paige gasps she knows I never get nervous but she needs to help her friend "You'll be fine honestly babe, ah look there's Sarah now" she points to a car pulling in, Paige waves her over and I elbow her but it's too late a beautiful red head is walking towards them. Paige hugs Sarah "Sarah this is Dee, Dee this is Sarah" Paige introduces us and Sarah pulls me in for a hug. After a quick discussion the three of us all make our way into the building, my nerves have subsided as we walk into the main offices Sarah tells me to take a seat in the lounge and Paige walks with Sarah. I pace the lounge but stop to look at framed photographs on the wall. "Dee!" Paige shouts making me jump and turn crashing straight into hard wall but as I look up I'm met with piercing blue eyes that could met polar caps "s**t sorry" I mumble "Don't worry buttercup" the beautiful specimen smirks making my knees weak and my pulse quicken, the bastard. "Buttercup, Seriously?" I smirk back the man smirks even bigger, Dee looks over the man who is dressed in a tight black suit with a white shirt and blue tie that matches his eyes, his short black hair is styled to perfection and he has a lip stud. "DEE!" Paige shouts again, s**t! "Yep, what's up?" I shout back realising Mr blue eyes is still focusing on me "Sarah is ready for you, oh I see you've met Block" Paige laughs walking over to me and the man she called 'Block'. Block Tne team had an amazing away game winning five-one against The Bull Dogs, my goalkeeper skills really showed themselves, we spent the evening celebrating our win by going for dinner and drinks and are looking forward to partying tonight at my home. The guys had to go straight to their home HQ as they have two hours of gruelling practice on the way to HQ coach told me I had to sign some papers and to make my way straight to Gary's office. I was on my way to practice after signing the papers which were just confirming my donations to the charity the team supports when a gorgeous blonde haired bombshell walked straight into me, now from what I heard Paige say her name is Dee and she's here to meet with Sarah. "Block this is Dee, Dee this is block The Red Socks goalkeeper, but we have to go Dee has a meeting. Nice to see you Block." Paige giggles pulling Dee down the long corridor "Bye buttercup" I laugh when she turns to glare at me. Practice was gruelling as expected but didn't last as long as expected thankfully, Kyle and I walked into the carpark and towards my BMW as I pressed the fob to unlock my car I noticed her. "Hey buttercup" I shouted ignoring the confused look Kyle was giving me, and Dee gave me the middle finger making me laugh, Paige sprinted over to Kyle jumping into his arms like she hadn't seen him in months making Dees face twist in confusion. "Dee come here!" Paige shouts over to Dee who is standing by a Audi TT. My grin grows as Dee walks over and she rolls her eyes at me. "Miss me already buttercup?" I grin at Dee "In your dreams play boy" she retorts quickly which makes me laugh loudly "You will definitely be in my dreams buttercup" "Give it a rest you two, Dee this is Kyle my boyfriend, Kyle this is Dee my best friend" Paige smiles "Nice to meet you, Paige has told me a lot about you" She shakes his hand and I'm jealous that even my best friend has had the pleasure of touching her. They talk animatedly for a few minutes before Paige suggests they all eat lunch together she receives excited reactions from Kyle and me and a sigh from Dee. "I've got to finish unpacking" Paige shoots Dee a glare "It will only take up an hour then you have the rest of the day to unpack as I've got to go back to work" Paige pleads "Fine, let's go then." I grin like cat who got the cream, Paige heads for a black SUV with Kyle, I sprint for my BMW and Dee is already in her Audi and speeding out of the carpark leaving me with my mouth hanging open it's usually me doing the impressing with my driving, this girl is driving me insane she seems oblivious to my charm which NEVER happens. I speed out of the car park overtaking Kyle and speeds down the freeway towards the restaurant. Pulling into the carpark I speed in and park right next to Dee who is has her ass propped up on the hood wearing her aviators so I can't see her eyes, thankfully after practise I showered and changed into a black t-shirt that clung to my muscles, faded jeans and Nike sneakers, I finished off the outfit by adding my aviators, getting out of the car I prop myself on the hood of Dees car "Hey buttercup, fancy seeing you here." I laugh nudging Dee "Seriously why the f*****g nickname?" She almost growls earning a louder laugh from me "Because I see the affect it has on you and you're hot as hell when you're angry." Dee punches my bicep and stands shaking her hand hoping I didn't see that but of course I did. "Aww baby you not used to a body like this?" I smirk "My punch bag is harder than you so don't let that massive ego inflate your head anymore" she smirks, I place a hand on my chest "Oh baby that hurt" she shakes her head just as Kyle and Paige pull up next to us. As the group make their way into the restaurant the front of house asks how many is to be seated and Dee laughs throwing a glance in my direction "Four adults and one bigger than life ego!" The woman laughs hard and leads them to a corner booth, Paige and Kyle slide in one side and Dee slides in the other and I follow close by her. "My ego sure isn't the only large thing around here" I smirks noticing Dees breathing quicken, Dee has to quickly regain her composure, she rolls her eyes. "Your head won't fit through any doors if that ego keeps up." She smirks straight back at me. Dee The lunch is relatively quiet and I'm pretty sure Paige and Kyle were upto something under the table, when it came to the bill I managed to snatch it before anyone else could and I placed a hundred dollar tip along with the bill earning myself some confused looks from Block and Kyle and a smirk from Paige, my phone rings and I excuse myself to answer it "Hello" "Hi Dee, it's Sarah. I just wanted to say it was so nice to meet you" "Thanks Sarah, it was lovely to meet you also" I know in the back of her mind that Sarah and I could be good friends even if I don't get the job "Erm, there's something else I was calling for. I know how weird this is but I'm off to a party tonight and wondered if you would like to come? Paige is coming too." Well I definitely didn't expect that "That sounds great, Sarah. Thank you." "Oh this is exciting, I'll email you the address later and I will see you tonight." The call ends just as the others exit the restaurant Paige and Kyle were all over each other so I decided to shout a goodbye "I've got to go, Paige I will call you later. Bye guys." I jump into my car and speed out of the car park and head for home parking in my double garage. A few hours later and I have unpacked all of my belongings, had a good workout and picked out my outfit for tonight, I'm relaxed on the swing seat with a latte when a loud engine approaching brings my attention to my neighbours drive, I see a black BMW speeding towards the other house. I turn my attention back to my land debating weather to rent the excess land as it is or have some barns put in, I also need to make some calls about getting a pool and hot tub put in. "Holy s**t, it is my buttercup" I whip my head around to the drive to see Block leaning on the fence, oh hell no, he's stalking me now, slamming my cup on the table I speed walk over the fence glaring at him "You resorted to stalking now?" I snap "I was going to ask you the same question not that I would mind you stalking me." He winks, seriously he f*****g winks which pisses me off. "This is my new house dickhead, so as I said are you f*****g stalking me or what?" I snap again and he laughs "Well the let me introduce myself properly I'm James Brewer, and owner of that house. Which means you must be my new neighbour" he smiles pointing at the house next to mine. "Oh my god, this must be a f*****g nightmare, I'm going to wake up any second and it will all be fine." Block laughs as I continue my rant. "Baby if you're in a nightmare I can send you into one of the best dreams of your life" Block stares at me and I glare at him before storming off into my house. How in the world am I going to cope with this? I mean yeah he's probably the hottest man in the world but I hate him already.
