Your girl is crazy

1109 Words
Ivy spent the rest of the afternoon just crying her eyes out. This is how she felt when someone mocked her as daddy’s little girl. She was so fed up with that tag last year that she decided to move out to a different city.  She dreamt of starting a new life in Paris by pursuing fashion as her career. Her dream was to start her own fashion industry. But her parents didn’t approve of her idea. And that's why she fell into the obsession of maintaining her Queen Bee status.  Ivy found temporary solace by posting her pictures and reels on i********:. They were a perfect distraction for her from her actual problems. Every night before sleeping, she would go through social media to check out the messages that her fans posted under each of the pictures she posted.  She liked living in the world of perfect illusion. Now that her phone was taken away from her, she was forced to face the reality before her. She didn’t know whom to blame! Is this her parents' fault? Or was she responsible for this?! Perhaps she must stop trying! No matter what she did or accomplished in her life, people were going to say that she got it because of her father! She buried her face on the pillow and tried hard to stop sobbing. There was no use in crying over something that probably couldn’t be changed.  ……………….. Thomas was so shaken after Ivy slapped him and left the room. He wasn’t even angry that the girl had slapped him. But he was surprised! He thought her to be a scared little princess, but she has the nerve to confront an Alpha man like him?! Whatever! He wasn’t going to do anything about this. If it was someone else, he would have probably drained the blood out of their body by now. But this was Tristan’s girl and he couldn’t do anything to her. He was relieved that no one else was there to see that scene. It would have been an embarrassment for him to have witnessed when he was getting slapped by a human girl! Thomas sighed to himself and looked for the bottle of red drink in Tristan’s room. He was surprised to find that the red drink was empty. Why would his brother empty the drink already?! It was just after noon now!  The butler used to fill this three-liter bottle every morning and Tristan emptied the bottle only at night. Thomas knew that Tristan lusted blood more than the other Vampires used to do. It was his curse to lust more! Yet, he had never drunk three liters of red drink at once. What was going on with him?! “Mr. Thompson,” he heard a shaky voice of the maid behind him while he was staring at the bottle. “Miss. Brown didn’t eat breakfast and she is refusing to eat lunch too!” Thomas turned to the maid. “Why are you saying that to me? Go and say this to my brother.” He sounded a little annoyed as he was reminded of that human girl. Why should he care about her anyway?! He didn’t buy her for money! “But Master is not home. So I didn’t know what to do,” the maid hung her head down. Thomas didn’t really know what to do. He didn’t want to face that annoying girl again. Yet, he wasn’t able to help it. He wanted to know why she was suddenly throwing a tantrum.  He hurried to her room and found her lying on the bed on her stomach. She had her face buried in the pillow. “Ivy,” he called her out. “What happened to you princess?” Ivy rose up from the bed and shot him a deadly glare. Her eyes and cheeks were red now from all the crying. Thomas wondered why she was crying. Even yesterday she was calm!  “I am not a princess,” she gritted her teeth like an angered little bunny. Thomas didn’t know if she should laugh or console her. She was angry just because he had called her a princess?!  He knew that girls tend to get angry over silly things. Things that are normal to men are not normal to women. But Ivy seemed silly to him. He wondered what his brother even saw in her. She was a pretty woman, but what was so special in her?!  Is she worth all the trouble?! He wondered what her reaction would be when she gets to know that they were Vampires!  “If you want to live, you eat! Or else keep crying,” he said and left the room as he didn’t like annoying crying chicks. They weren’t his type!  ………………… Athena had made Tristan lie down on the table, and she told him to close his eyes. She had placed scented candles at the edges of the tables. Now she was chanting something in an unknown language.  Tristan was a little scared. What was she doing to him?! “Are you sure that you are not going to put a curse on me?!” Tristan asked her casually. He wasn’t very anxious as he had faith in Athena. She wouldn’t probably harm him! And he was already cursed a lot in his lifetime. He didn’t care about getting cursed one more time. What difference was that even going to make to him?! And no matter what curse he got, he always found a loophole out of it. Finding loopholes was one of his superpowers! “Shhh….. No thoughts,” Athena said and placed her hands on his head. “Keep your mind blank and try to find your inner peace…” Inner peace?! Tristan would have gotten mad when Athena had said this dialogue to him a week ago. But after he saw Ivy, he got tamed. He got a new hope in his heart that he can live again despite everything! Tristan tried hard to keep his mind blank but he kept on picturing Ivy and her piercing blue eyes. That girl had completely consumed his thoughts. The feeling of wanting someone was very beautiful! And he hadn’t felt like this for a hundred years!  Athena hit his head and yelled at him to not think anything. This time he really tried to obey! He succeeded in keeping his mind for ten seconds. But in the eleventh second, he felt something appearing beside him.  “Brother, your girl is driving me crazy,” he heard Thomas shout. And then his inner peace was ruined as usual!
