When Drama Walks In

🌅 NEXT DAY 🌅 SANDRA’S POV Ding, ding ding ding ding ding…! It’s a beautiful morning, wait, scratch that. Here comes the annoying loud voice of my alarm. I groaned in my sleep, pulling my huge fluffy pillow over my ears, but the sound just kept getting louder. I finally slammed the alarm off and flopped back on my bed when suddenly, I heard my best friend’s voice. “Won’t you wake up already? It’s morning, Sandra!” Angel screeched, but I simply ignored her, savoring every bit of my sleep. The next thing I felt was cold liquid pouring all over me. I shot up instantly, wide-eyed. There she was, Angel, holding a bowl of water, her signature mischievous grin plastered on her face. “Angel?!” I yelled, now completely awake and dripping wet. Why? Why does she have to ruin my peaceful sleep every time? “Don’t you know today is the first day back at school?” she said, placing the bowl on the table. The moment I heard those words, my heart skipped a beat. Panic washed over me. I darted my eyes toward the wall clock.7:43 AM. “Oh no!!! I’m late! I’m freaking late! What’s wrong with me?! Why am I always like this?!” I cried. “We’re late. Not just you,” Angel corrected smugly. “Serves you right. Next time, you’ll get up early. Breakfast downstairs if you’re hungry,” she added before walking out as her footsteps faded. I sprinted to the bathroom like my life depended on it, quickly getting ready. I threw on black pants, a white designed top, a cap with STUD boldly written on it, my white sneakers, some jewelry, and tied my hair neatly. I did a quick mirror check before dashing out. —————————————————————— .”Wowwww, back to school?!” Angel exclaimed happily. I covered her mouth with my palm immediately. She was screaming so loud that everyone stopped to stare at us like we had suddenly grown two horns. “Why’s she screaming like that?” “What’s wrong with her?” “She’s crazy!” “Has she gone nuts?” Different comments flew around, but we ignored them. As we strolled through the hallway, three stylish girls walked past us. Their dyed pink hair glowed under the lights, and they looked like they just stepped out of a fashion magazine. They were all dressed identically, classy and bold. One pecked another on the lips, and they all giggled. “Maybe they’re best friends?” Angel guessed. I gave her a soft smile as we kept eyeing their outfits. On the back of their jackets was the shape of a half-naked girl, with L.I.T Girls boldly printed under it. We were still staring when Angel whispered, “This year will be hot 🥵.” “Yeah, but they all look like Year One students,” I said, still wide-eyed. We were about to continue when four insanely hot guys walked in at once. Angel literally froze on the spot. I heard girls whispering dirty things around us: “They’re so hot!” “I love them so much!” “I want a one-night stand with you, Xaz!” “Oliv, please marry me!” “Azix, just take me away to your planet!” “Ova, just drown me in your cuteness!” Angel and I just stood there, absorbing all the chaos. Suddenly, one of the guys locked eyes with me. He stared so intensely that it made my skin crawl. “Why the hell is he looking at me like that?” I asked Angel, but she was lost in her fantasy world. He gave me one last glance before walking away. “I think this guy is into you,” Angel teased, trying to hug me excitedly. “Balalalala,” I said dramatically, pushing her away. Okay, enough of this school drama. We made our way to the janitor’s office to collect our locker key. I sighed heavily as we walked down the hallway until I spotted a white door. I pushed it open and was greeted by a pretty woman who looked like she could be in her early 30s…or maybe 40s. Honestly, I couldn’t guess her age. “Good morning… we’re… um… I… and…” Why was I suddenly tongue-tied? Angel just stood there, smirking at my struggle. Out of nowhere, the woman leaned forward and whispered, “What’s your favorite s*x position?” Wait. What?! I blinked rapidly, stunned. What was she insinuating? The silence in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife. “Our… um… locker key, ma’am,” I finally managed to say, desperate to change the subject. A knowing smile crept onto her face as she casually searched her table, shuffled some papers, and then handed me the key. I grabbed it quickly. “Enjoy your stay here. If you need anything, feel free to ask me,” she said sweetly, her tone still weirdly seductive. I forced a smile and practically dragged Angel out of the office. “What the hell was that?” Angel blurted. “I have no idea,” I said, still processing the moment. “This is the second person crushing on you today. Only you, Sandra!” Angel shook her head in disbelief. We both burst into uncontrollable laughter.
