Chapter 43
John
"No!" I hear a scream as I reach the door to Emma’s room. "No let go of me!"
Two nurses came into the room half an hour ago and told me to leave the room for a while, to stretch my legs and let them take some tests on Emma, so I figured I could take a walk in the corridor. I burst into the room to see that the nurses are trying to put needles in Emma’s arm. Emma is trashing around screaming at them to let her go. She’s in full panic. My heart starts to ache at the sight of how scared Katniss is. She's so scared.
Emma sees me. She's crying and at the sight of me her eyes grow big. "John!" She screams in panic. "John help me! They're going to kill me! Help me!"
I feel a little panic rise inside of me. I want to help her, but I can't. Technically there's nothing to help h
