Phase One Planned

The reunion is three days away, so Eve didn't have a lot of time. She was originally going to completely humiliate Maria at the reunion. While she still plans to do this, she also has decided to prolong the t*****e. Why ruin the fun?

Eve has been planning what she wanted to do. She looked up what the schedule was for the reunion and saw that they were going to show some videos from back in high school for a trip down memory lane. That gave Eve an idea.

Maria was looking over the video clip and picture choices that some of the class members sent in for the reunion. She was in charge of this task as well as choosing the music. The board decided to use some of the music that was popular back in high school.

So far, Maria had chosen two video clips and several photos and was now arranging them in the powerpoint system. She was also adding background music and making it to where the music gets lower in sound during the videos and then returning to normal during the photos. She enjoyed creating slides and similar activities as a hobby and was good at it.

Her phone rang. She looked at the screen and saw it was her friend, Sarah. "Hey Sarah," Maria leaned back in her chair to relax as she held the phone to her ear. She had left a message earlier about seeing Eve and was now explaining what happened. "I went out on a date with David last night and I saw her again. That b*tch was talking to him again after I specifically told her to stay away!" Maria was angry all night. "Just because she's prettier now doesn't mean she isn't still a loser!"

Sarah laughed on the other line. She was shocked to learn that the woman she saw at the coffee shop that day talking to David was Eve Robertson. She remembered how lame Eve was back in high school. She even heard that Eve lost her mind after graduation and tried killing herself.

Maria soon hung up the phone and decided to call David. She was leery about David talking to Eve. While Maria believed Eve was still a loser, David didn't know her. And since Eve was prettier now, Maria felt threatened, though she would never admit it.

David was sitting at his desk writing notes from the session that ended 30 minutes ago when his phone rang. He looked at the screen and saw it was Maria. Surprisingly, he felt annoyed. He decided to ignore it and call her back later.

David was confused about his love for Maria. He began to doubt it. If he couldn't stop thinking about Evelyn and he felt annoyed just now when he saw Maria's name on his phone, just how in love was he with her? He had another dream about Evelyn last night after seeing her at the restaurant. This tormented him because he really does care for Maria. He was so happy just a few days ago about marrying her. Then this lovely stranger appears and his feelings have changed.

Eve was sitting at her computer starting the first chapter of her new book. She already had over 5,000 words when she decided to save what she has so far and switch gears. Since learning that Maria was in charge of the video/picture memoriam during the reunion, she decided to start small with her t*****e. She wanted to stretch it out. She wanted to embarrass Maria at the reunion. Not too terrible. Yet.

Eve decided to find a couple of very embarrassing photos and maybe even a video clip of Maria online and add it to the memoriam on the night of the reunion. All of her classmates will be there. It will be a small taste of what Eve felt on graduation day. Eve was skilled at using the internet and finding things people want hidden. She had no doubt she'd be able to find something about Maria.

Eve remembered how Maria had treated her the previous day and smiled inside. She still thought of Eve as a loser. Wait until the truth comes out.
