When I walked in. I shift my eyes to Savy.
“I am here to see Savy” I said indifferently.
He frowned, I noticed that but didn’t put much attention to it.
Savy sat down on a chair. “So what’s up?”
“Here? Okay.” I sat down and sighed “When I was looking for Cole and Lily” a growl disturbed my story, I looled at him with a warn “So, anyway, I closed my eyes and suddenly I saw Lily sleeping. So I ran back to the gym to find you but I didn’t, so I closed my eyes again, the I found you here. I saw you with the Alpha, here in this very office” I explained
“So you were trying to a find a person and when you close your eyes you suddenly see them?” She asked
“Yes” I nodded
“Try it again” She said
I did what I was told to do. I close my eyes and try to find Lorcan. There I saw him walking in a very familiar place. I opened my eyes with a smile
“He’s here” was all I said and ran outside
I can feel they both followed me. I didn’t mind. So I ran downstairs and Lorcan was by the door.
I immediately smiled and ran towards him to hug him
“You’re here!!!” I shouted
“Yes! How are you?” he asked
“I missed you” I said letting him go and pouted
“I missed you too. So what’s up? Any improvement yet?” he asked
“I will tell you if you let her go first” James said and I looked at him
“Lorcan don’t listen to him. Let’s go out. I missed having lunch with you” I said and held his out towards the door
“It’s a lunch date then” he said
“You are not going anywhere” James said, taking my hand and pulled me towards him
“I am going with him and you there’s nothing you can do about it” I said and wiggled my hands out from his grip
“Can I go with you?” A little voice came from behind, I look over and saw Lily
“I showered already and I dressed up today” she said again
“Of course you can. You can meet my friend here, you can call him Uncle Lorcan” I said
“Hello Uncle Lorcan” she said and wave her hand. I carry her in my arms and walked towards Lorcan’s car
A few minutes, Lorcan came in with us and we left the house. We decided to dine in a child friendly restaurant. Where kids were playing, so Lily has playmates too. They were all pups so I don’t have to worry about it.
“So how is your stay at Alpha James’ pack? Do they treat you right?’ Lorcan asked
“Yes, they are all sweet and welcoming when I first came in. Well except for him”
“Why? He is your mate, he should treat you well”
“I don’t know, he doesn’t make efforts, plus, I don’t think I am ready” I said looking at hands and playing with my bracelet
“You haven’t thrown it away?” Lorcan asked
“Why would I? It was your grandmother’s. I don’t want to lose it”
He sighed. Then the waiter came in to let us order lunch. I ordered salad, two, because lily likes to eat what I eat but I ordered chicken along with the veggies for her.
We called in Lily, she was exhausted. We ate and had a nice conversation. After a while, Lily fell asleep in my arms
“I guess we have to go home huh?” I said
“Yes, come on, I will take you home.” He lead us to his car and took off, we were not so far away from the house so it was a quick ride home.
“Thank you again” I said
“Anytime. Glad to know you are okay here. I have to go now, I just came by to see you. See you when I see you” he said kissed my temples
I wave at him goodbye. When he left, I walked inside and upstairs to lay Lily down the bed.
I was tucking her in when he came in. I know it was him because I smell him.
“What is it?” I asked, stood up and prepare my things for a nice hot shower
“Casler, I came here in peace, would you just listen to me? I am trying here” he said
I sighed “Fine”, I sat down beside Lily
“Why did you move here?”
“Because I don’t like to sleep with the same bed with you” I said
“Okay, why don’t you like me?” I looked at his eyes, he was longing for something
“The first time we met, I hope you remember that, you were inconsiderate and let me remind you that my wrist, every time I am with you, gets bruised”
“Because you defy me. You keep distance, why don’t you understand that I feel the bond. You know what it feels like right? You have to understand that it’s hard for me to stay away from you” he said
“I need you. I know you don’t feel it but I do need you. I want you. Goodness I waited for seven years for you. And when I find you, you want me to reject you” he continued
“Alph---“ then there he goes again.
“I can see you but I can’t see what’s inside. I know you’re not ready but at least try it with me. You want to go out on a date? Fine, I will.”
“Alpha, trust is not given. Love can’t be forced. Letting go for me is hard. What do you expect? He set standards and I can’t see them in you” I said finally, and he looked hurt
“Look. I want to try it but for now, I can’t. I am still trying to fit in. To be accepted here. I know they all do want me here but I can’t make myself or force myself to immediately love it here. I am too, is trying. Please just give me time” I continued
He sighed and walked towards the door. “I will try to win you, whatever it takes” he whispered then he left
“He was hurt” Crystal said
“I know. I clearly saw that. But he has to understand, I am trying to accept all of this and I can’t do it all at once” I answered
“I know. But we have to try and not be rude with him too, because in the first place this is your fault”
“I didn’t know the Moon Goddess was listening! Well at least I’ll try and be good to him though.”
“Try to be friends with him, at least”
“I will, if he is willing to show his other side to me then we won’t have a problem with that”
“I can sense that he is not as ruthless as other’s say.”
“Well I guess we’ll find out”

A week have passed and I have seen my parents yesterday, it was their first time visiting here, they were joking about something about me visiting my old pack with a mark. But that’s never going to happen not until I am ready.
James also changed his way when being with me, he is trying to be gentle but sometimes we end up fighting because of his temper. Well, I have a temper too but mostly it’s his fault. He gets too possessive sometimes, he even gets jealous of Cole. Goodness, he is his Beta, he’s just a friend and besides, I have grown to him, I look at him like Alex or Bryan, in simple terms like a brother.
Sometimes I do understand because Cole is still unmated, and so am I. But he just needs to trust me more and trust his Beta.
