A wound that left me a good memory

SHAUN'S POV

The class is over, and it's 6:00 pm. The group and I were walking towards the gate when someone reached us

(haliyah) "hey, where are you headed?"

(Voughn) "duh! to go home?"

(haliyah) " I'm not asking you. so you don't need to say something."

(haliyah) "and are you gay to give me that kind of attitude?"

(kalix) " HAHAHAHA YOU'RE GAY VOUGHN? DO YOU LIKE ME THEN?"

(voughn) "no, I'm not! and if I were gay, I wouldn't like someone like you!"

(shion) "so you're gay? how about me then? would you like me?"

(Voughn) "no! I'm not gay I'm telling you, and I wouldn't like you too!"

(Shion) "how mean!"

(Kalix) "just say if you're gay, I would take your first kiss *started making a kiss face**

(haliyah) "see, they're onto you"

(Voughn) "this is all your fault, stop kalix!"

I laughed at them and kashina too, then kashina started walking beside me

(Kash) "hey, your class is the highest right? then why do you have to check my exam?"

"yeah, the highest. Unfortunately, our class is the lowest in Language. And Mr David is our homeroom teacher too, so... he's disappointed.."

(Kash) "oh, I'm sorry to ask. What's your score then?"

"the three subjects are 100 plus, but my japanese drag me down, it's 80."

she looked surprised, I think she was surprised because I, the highest are the lowest in Japanese.

"if I don't do great next week, Japanese would bring my language grade down."

(kashina) "is that so..."

we're sitting together at the bus now, Kash is listening to a song and I'm just looking at the window admiring the stars.

(Kashina) "hey, stop thinking about it. here"

then she lent me the second piece of her earphones.

(kashina) "this is my favorite song, you should probably listen to it too. I swear it can take your bad mood away."

and I did listen ~

kashina paused the music, and we both looked at each other.

(Kashina) "Shaun did a great job!" and smiled.

her words with the music are really motivating. It's as if she's replying to the music with her motivational speech, it made me feel relieved somehow.

"Yuikashina, Thank you."

(Kashina) "hey! just kashina, or Kash. it's weird to call me yuikashina."

"what? it's your name right?"

(kashina) "hmp!"

nothing changed, you're just like you.

we're walking now and kashina looked at me and said

(kashina) " hey, Shaun. if you're in a bad mood, feeling anxious, and feeling sad, you can open up to me, I'll give you my songs!" she smiled again showing her gummy teeth and cute dimples in her cheeks

I just nodded and stayed quiet. Because I might pinch her cheeks because of her cuteness.

KASHINA'S POV

I hope my words make Shaun feel less sad.

I looked straight and saw Shashi under the tree

"Hey! it's Shashi!" I was so excited to see how many kittens Shashi has that I didn't notice the rock laying down that I tripped and fell over, and it's embarrassing me, I tripped in front of Shaun? This is really really embarrassing.

(Shaun) "hey, are you okay? here let me help you." he offered his hand, I'm giving it a thought if I would accept it or not, but I won't refuse his offer, he's kind right now.

"I didn't notice the rock. But it's okay."

because I'm embarrassed I started walking normally but i can't help it since it's hurting me so bad

(Shaun) "hey, stop walking alone. you're clearly not okay." he walked towards me and searched my feet

(Shaun) "oh no. see, you have a wound. it 's big and bleeding. wait for me here, sit beside Shashi."

I didn't reply back since he started running after he said that. I looked at my knee and saw a big wound, he's not joking. it's really big and bleeding, no wonder why my knee feels heavy and it stings. 5 minutes has gone, I was petting Shashi "hey, Shashi. I think this is the first wound that I had this year. And luckily, it's so big huhu." I was about to cry because it hurts so bad when...

(Shaun) "sorry, I should've warning you but I'm not looking at your direction."

"it's alright, it's not your fault. it's mine, because of my clumsiness."

(Shaun) "let me see"

he reached for my knee and looked worried, am I right?

(Shaun) " it look serious, should we go to the hospital?"

"what? for this wound and you'll take me to the hospital! No, no no thank you."

Shaun looked confused, I'm not going to hospital. I AM NOT GOING THERE AGAIN. I remembered my dad... it made me traumatized.

"sorry, I acted wrong. I'm just traumatized in hospitals because of my dad... so"

(Shaun) "it's alright. thank you for saying this."

he smiled and said

(Shaun) "can I touch your knee?"

he asked for my permission??

"oh... sure.."

he took the plastic, he bought some first aid things like. He cleans my wound and put a bantage in it.

(Shaun) " are you okay?" I nodded and stood up

(Shaun) " Easy, can you walk? should I piggyback you?"

what???

"no. no. no. it's alright, I can manage hehe"

But when I took my first step I immediately was about to fall but Shaun caught me just in time.

(Shaun) "you're clearly not okay, here let me carry you." he lays his body a little so I can ride on his back...

(Shaun) "just tell me the direction of your house."

"okay."
