Chapter 21:
Lusie stretched her arms above her head. She felt refreshed again and she was sure Jason felt the same. The family had been overly generous to them for the small act of bringing their son home. The wife had washed their clothes for them and insisted that they take showers before they ate dinner. Oh how it felt like so long since she had been in warm water when the nice water rolled down Lusie. Her sore bones felt lighter than the previous nights. Sleeping on a bed had been the best out of all of the small blessings. She woke up with her body light and it was so nice to have that back. She had smiled with Jason as they had left.
