Chapter 23:
Lusie started to hear voices around her. They were uncomperendable at first and then her sluggish mind started to register. She could hear her grandfather speaking. His voice was full of annoyance at whoever was listening to him. Probably Damian. Lusie could also hear two strangers voices closer to her having a conversation. "Is there anything you can do for them doctor?" One gentle voice asked the other. "I've done all I could. There is nothing else that can be done." The other voice was rough and deep.
