Epilogue
Lusie’s mother heard a knock at the front door. She opened it to find no one there. Though Lusie’s mother could not see anyone Lusie’s spirit smiled at her. Lusie’s mother felt the air blow warmly to her. She could feel the love and comfort that Lusie’s spirit sent to her. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She knew her daughter was visiting even though she was not sure how. It was like Lusie was telling her I’m home. Lusie’s mother could not see through her tears but she put a smile on her face. “Welcome home Lusie.” The mother’s voice shook. Lusie’s spirit wrapped her arms around her mother and the mother could feel the energy Lusie gave her. She could not hear Lusie but by how she felt the mother knew Lusie was telling her it’s ok. That she did not blame them for taking her to the hospital.
