I went through the record files of both the officers. Mr Aditya Roy is not the only one who is being transferred today. I haven’t been informed about the second officer but I got it from my sources. He is Omkar Rana, forty two years old and he is coming again after seven years. He hates our kind for good reason. He came here with his wife seven years ago. But his wife found her mate in here. And she left him because nobody can keep away from the mate bond. He could not bear this and killed his wife's mate. I was seventeen at that time. My father couldn’t tolerate this As an Alpha. He made a pact with ISSA. According to which, if any human kills any of our kind then ISSA will lose its all rights, and there will be war in both community. I already put my search team to work. There are some men in ISSA who secretly work for me. I collect information through them.

I already told my best friend who is future beta, to spy on Rana.

I look at my phone screen. It’s already nine thirty P.M. If I don't hurry, I will surely be late for the dinner. I lock the office and quickly get into the car. The thought of chicken curry makes me hungry. I reached home in ten minutes. A mouthwatering smell hit my nose and that is not chicken curry. I am getting anxious when I smell the honey and lotus.

I parked my car and hurriedly walked into the house.

“I hope I wasn’t late.” I said as I entered the dining room.

As soon as they saw me, they were all stood up in their place. I saw her. Pure innocent dark brown eyes nervously looking at me. Her short hair matches with her eye colour. Her alluring lips pressed in a thin line. She is younger than me I can tell from her baby face. She dresses in simple white T-shirt and blue jeans and no makeup on her face. But still she looks beautiful than all the females that were drooling over me.

“You are on time, Rith. We are waiting for you. Come, take a seat.” My dad said. I immediately got control over myself. I came forward to meet her father and extends my hand to welcome him. She started breathing heavily when my gaze met her. I am making her nervous probably because I can clearly hear her heart is beating faster.

“Hello sir, nice to meet you after a long time.” I said while meeting him.

“ Nice to meet you too. It’s been seventeen years.” He said while looking at me astonished.

“ I hope your journey was good. Please make yourself comfortable.” I gestured with my hand to take their seat.

I am sitting in front of her. She is still nervous because she drinks the whole glass of water. The food is served right after that. The next few minutes were quiet. She is sitting with her head down and eating nervously.

“Thanks mom, your chicken curry is delicious.”

I said to my mother while breaking the silence. I spoke because she can know that I am no longer looking at her and that would make her calm.

And I am right. After, The conversation picks up by my mom and her mother.

“Sir, your driver wants to meet you in urgent.” One of our maid came and told Mr. Roy. He went to meet his driver, after getting my dad’s approval.

“What’s the matter?” Mr Roy asked.

“Sir, I have received an order to go to the office immediately.” Driver said.

“How do we go back?” Mr Roy asked.

“ You should ask someone else who is available in the office.” Driver said.

“Okay, I’ll check if someone can drop us back. You can go now.” Mr Roy said.

I heard all the conversation between them. When Mr Roy came back he looked confused.

“If you don’t mind, I’ll drop you off.” I looked at Mr. Roy and said.

“ Oh you got it. I hope we are not causing any trouble.” He said awkwardly.

“No, not at all. I also have to go in the same direction.” I said while looking at my mate.

I have my own house near the government quarter. when I turned eighteen I moved in there.

The dinner is over after a while. After talking for a while we parted. I started my jeep’s engine. Her father took a seat besides me. Amy and her mother sat on the back seat.

“Where is your jacket? Mrs Roy asked her daughter.

“I forgot in the car.” Amy replied.

“ How could you be so careless. Take mine.” She insisted.

I can't bear that my mate is feeling cold.

“ There is en extra jacket in the last seat.” I turned back from my seat facing her and pointed towards a black jacket that laying on the seat.

“No i am fine.” She said awkwardly. She is so close to me. I can barely control myself. Her soft lips, I want to feel them with my own. I took a few deep breathes and come to my senses.

“ you’ll catch the cold soon. Put it on.” I give her order that she can’t resist like others.

She immediately took the jacket and covered herself.

I sighs and turned around. I am happy that she is wearing my jacket. I want to know more about her but it’s not the right time. It was a quiet ride. They are tired from the journey. We reached at their quarter in ten minutes.

She put my jacket back as She got out of the car. I again shook hands with her father and left. Her smell is still lingering in the air. My home is quiet close to her. It took me just five minutes to reached at my place. I took the jacket from the back seat and smell it. A sweet scent mix with my own smell passing through my nostril. My wolf is getting anxious. I have to free him. I took off my clothes and run towards the woods.
