I find out I'm pregnant on the same day I catch my husband in bed with his sister.

The two of them cook up a plan to pass off their baby as mine, and I'm the last to know.

Then a new wolf walks into my life out of nowhere.

He's rich, powerful, and full of secrets. And he wants me.

Now I have to figure out what the hell I'm going to do.

Chapter 1 Disgusting Affair
Matilda Whitmore's POV: Today was my wedding anniversary with Soren Thornfield. I had the perfect surprise for him—a positive pregnancy test. He was going to be so happy. On the day we sealed our bond, he looked me in the eyes and made me a promise. "Matilda Whitmore, being your mate is the greatest honor of my life. We're gonna build a family together, and I'll make you the happiest woman in the world." But when I got to the bedroom door, I heard him inside with another woman. "No, Soren, honey... stop, please. It's too much. I don't wanna hurt the baby..." I pushed the door open just enough to see. Soren's little sister, Aliyah Thornfield, was naked from the waist up, her pale, round breasts fully exposed. And Soren was on his knees between her legs, dragging his tongue along her wet slit, licking and sucking like he couldn't get enough of her. "Aliyah, baby. God, I've missed you. Let me have one more taste." My hand flew to my mouth. I couldn't breathe. My husband was having s*x with his sister! They were siblings. Not by blood, sure, but Aliyah had been formally adopted into the family. She was registered in the pack records. In the eyes of every wolf in our clan, this was i****t, and the punishment was trial and exile. Soren was so tender with her, so careful. But the man I married was nothing like this. The Soren I knew was cold, rigid, and traditional to his core. Every time he slept with me, there were no kisses, no foreplay, not even a different position. Just the same routine, every single time. Aliyah placed a hand on her belly and rubbed it gently. Clearly, she was carrying a child. "It's been a whole year," she said, her voice shaking. "I've been hiding this pregnancy for a year, and every single day, I'm terrified someone's gonna find out. Soren, when that rival pack killed my parents, your family took me in. They gave me a home." She covered her face with both hands and broke down crying. "But I swear, my biggest regret is becoming your sister. If I wasn't your sister, we wouldn't have to sneak around like this. Our baby wouldn't be treated like some dirty secret." She continued. "Sometimes I wish he was yours and Matilda's. At least then, nobody would have to suffer." "Matilda?" Soren's voice went cold. "She doesn't deserve that." He pulled Aliyah into his arms and wiped the tears from her cheeks. "You're the only woman I've ever loved, Aliyah. The only baby I want is yours." He added, "Pack law says a brother and sister can't be mates. That's the only reason I married her. I never loved that woman. Not even for a second." He kissed Aliyah slow and deep, right on the lips. "Don't be scared. I promise you. I'll keep our baby safe no matter what." I couldn't believe how far gone he was. He actually wanted Aliyah to have the baby. But this child was born from i****t. It was living proof of everything they'd done wrong. The pack would never let it survive. The elders would order the child put to death the second they found out. Unless... Soren kept talking. "Once the baby's born, I'll make Matilda claim it as hers. On paper, it'll be her kid. Nobody will ever know it's ours. And if nobody knows, then we haven't broken any pack laws." Aliyah looked up at him, her eyes swollen and red. "But what if Matilda won't go along with it? If she ever finds out about us, I'm afraid..." Soren reached over to the nightstand and picked up a small vial. His tone was casual, like he was deciding what to have for dinner. "Tonight, I'm gonna set her up to sleep with another man." Soren said, "And here's what you need to remember. Matilda cheated. She's the one who betrayed me. She's the one who broke the mating bond. After that, she'll do whatever I tell her." So that was his plan? He lied to me about everything, and now he was going to ruin my life just to cover his tracks! I ran. Tears blurred my vision, but I didn't stop. Hours passed. Then, that evening, a message from Soren lit up my phone. He said he'd been out drinking with friends at a bar and was too wasted to drive. Could I come pick him up? I knew it was a trap. But I said yes anyway. I wiped my eyes dry and made up my mind. "You want to play this game, Soren? Fine. I'll play along. Just don't come crying to me when it blows up in your face."
