My crush is in love with someone else

When I was at my teen years,someone said to me”one day you are going to meet someone,fall in love and maybe make kids out of it and they will behave just like you “. She said.Me falling in love?and the kids?hell no!that will never happen. I laughed at the person and I shyly left. I was too young to understand all that,being that out of control teen,who never had any care from guardians,making my own decisions how I felt right was all I was good at. I was nine years old when my mom woke up and left to a unknown destination.being the eldest daughter in the family she left me her responsibilities of taking care of my younger siblings.at the age of nine I already had so much responsibilities which weren’t supposed to be mine.but since I was the eldest I had to fit in. My dad used to work away from home and it would take years before we could see him,this time around he took too long than usual to come back home. I think my mom got tired of waiting and left leaving me with all the responsibilities.our youngest brother was only five years old and the second one was seven.the difference between us was of two years. We were too young to fed for ourselves,we couldn’t afford to pay bills and after a short while we were kicked out of our home due to rent arrears.having nowhere to go,we were left homeless and we ended up being in the streets. There we found so much people who were just like us,when home was far away from home that’s where we would call home, roaming around the streets was our favorite hobby.and with no time I had known every corner of this city. One day as I was busy roaming the streets as usual, I came across a old woman who was well aware of our street lives,she would come every weekend to visit us and bring us food.
