Thomas let out a sigh and called to the others. “All clear! You can come out!”
Axel and Leo emerged from belowdecks. “The Bougainville is on her way,” Axel said.
Eva looked to the side of the boat but didn’t see the dolphins. She turned her attention to Leo. “Can you see them? Are they okay?”
Leo looked up from his tablet and smiled. “Taffy and Finn? They’re fine.” He pointed. “They’re right over there.”
As if knowing Eva was looking for them, the two dolphins surfaced with a chuff and swam toward the boat. Eva’s heart swelled with relief. They were both okay.
