Truth or Dare

Tiana grew more nervous after he opened the door swiftly with his head sticking out from one corner of the door, giving them a questioning stare

"You're the new neighbor right, we're here to see you " Hailey said breaking the silence

He moved towards them a little bit and closed the door behind him

He was still wearing the black cardigan with no button, his chest in full display

He had replaced the long blue trouser with a short brown pant

Hailey stares at him in awe 'he is one hot guy, however her Kelly is way more hotter '

" You want to see me for what?."he diverted his gaze to Hailey

" You just moved here thus you're our new neighbor, it's only right we come welcome you, we lived at that apartment over there"She pointed at their house

She then continued few seconds later " I am Hailey and my friend right here" she faced Tiana

"Her name is Tiana, we both attends Bright university not far from here, we've been best friends since our high school days and now in our final year. "She explained

Jamal crossed his arms staring at Hailey introducing themselves

What does that have to do with him anyway?

However, he stood there calmly and watched her finished her words

"Okay " he said after she was done talking

"Yeah, so what about you, are you a student like us"

'Student, he didn't even finish high school '

Tiana was happy Hailey was the one doing the talking as she just stood in a corner behind her watching both of them

He replied "Yes"

Hailey smiled." Oh! so which university do you attends? "

"I've graduated "he replied without giving it much thought

Hailey then inquired.

"What's the name of the university you graduated from "

He's growing impatient already

Why the f**k is this lady asking him too many questions

"Just one old university, it's not popular "he said after a minute silent

"Alright then, you've not tell us your name"Hailey reminded

"I'm Jamal"he said briefly

"You are a Muslim." Tiana blurted out before she could stop herself

She had been in a corner not having the plan of joining the conversation but when he heard his name

She was a bit surprised that she didn't know when the word left her mouth

"Yeah, you don't like Muslims. "Jamal eyes were now on her instead

"No, I do, I was just surprised "she quickly said

She doesn't want to be misunderstood

Jamal wanted to say something, but stopped when he heard some sounds behind the door

He opened the door and a little cat came out, it's curious eyes staring at Tiana and Hailey

"A cute cat you got right there, what's it's name" Hailey asked staring at the cat

Jamal picked it up in his arm" I don't have a name for it"

It has been staying with him for a month now but he had not think of naming it

That's not important to him anyway

"Alright then, nice meeting you, Mr Jamal, I hope we get along well as neighbors

We will be leaving then "Hailey said and he just nodded

He went back in immediately after they left

" Let's go get dressed, Kelly will be here to pick us soon "Hailey said to Tiana in the sitting room

"Don't you think that guy is weird earlier, he didn't behave that friendly towards us

Like, he's supposed to invite us in and you know.. "she muttered thinking about the scenes back then

Hailey shrugged"He behaves normal to me, he just moved in and can't be that free towards us yet

"Let's forget about about that , go get dressed, Kel will arrived any moment from now " Hailey added going into to her room not waiting for a reply

'Maybe, she's the one taking it as a big deal then ' Tiana thought going to her room also

"Are you done " Hailey muttered sitting on Tiana's bed

She had finished dressing up herself

She wore a light blue off shoulder gown and applied little make over on her face

She looked hot and pretty

"Yeah, i'm done" Tiana said

She was putting on a blue trouser and a white crop top

She looked beautiful, simple and natural

"Let's go to my room, I will apply a little make over on your face "Hailey stood up

"No, i'm okay like this "she shook her head instantly

"Common, it won't be too much or too flashy"Hailey insisted

"Alright"Tiana agreed following her to her room

"I'm done, how is it?."Hailey whispered and Tiana checked herself out in the mirror

Indeed, it's not too flashy and corresponded her face well

She looked beautiful and elegant..

"I like it, thank you"Tiana said softly, just then they heard sounds of a car horning in front of their apartment

"Oh gee! That's must be Kelly, take your bag and let's go quickly " Hailey yelped picking up her bag hurriedly

"We are here"Tiana heard Hailey said after Kelly parked the car

She got down from the car and Hailey put her hand on her shoulder as they walked in together with Kelly behind them

They entered to see some people dancing crazily on the dance floor, some ladies were dancing with men rocking them

The music was just too loud for Tiana

She feels as if her eardrum is gonna damaged

They then walked up to another corner

The place for people who is not interested in dancing

They could still hear the sound of the music but it's not too loud there

"Hey Hailey, right over here" Someone called out to Hailey on sighting them

Hailey smiled and scurried towards them with Tiana beside her

"Hi guys"Kelly walked forward taking a seat first

Hailey took a seat beside him and Tiana sat beside her

"What's up Hailey?, You're looking gorgeous tonight " one of the guys complimented

His name is Chris

"You're not looking bad too"Hailey responded with a smile

"And who's this beauty beside you"another guy said said staring at Tiana

"Oh! She's Tiana, my friend"

"I'm Fred by name, You're beautiful, Miss Tiana" the guy introduced himself

"Thank you" Tiana responded shyly

"I'm Annabel, Anna for short

Nice to have you in our midst " one of the ladies introduced herself

"i'm Ethan. "

"And I'm starboy Chris"

They all began introducing themselves one after another except a lady whose eyes were on her phone all through

Not raising her head up for once

Tiana shyly responded to their greetings

She becomes shy especially with people she's not familiar with

They are a total of two ladies and three guys there

And now they are 8 after Kelly, Hailey and Tiana joined.

They were all casual friends of Kelly and Hailey

They clubbed together once in a while

Tiana stares hard at the lady whose eyes were on her phone

One glimpse at her and she find herself disliking her

She was putting on a short armless gown

Half of her breast were in full display

Tiana was sure she wouldn't be able to bend down with how short the gown is

" Let me go order more drinks " Fred stood up

He came back after a while with a bartender following him

He dropped more drinks on the table and left afterwards

Kelly took one of the drinks, and started to drink after pouring in a cup, Hailey does the same.

Tiana also took one of the drinks and started siping using a straw

"You don't take alcoholic drinks " Fred questioned when he noticed she was drinking a non-alcholic soft drink

"Yeah, I don't like it"Tiana nodded

"Not everyone likes alcohol, I don't take it before too" Anna said

"Now, you are an expert "Ethan chuckled

She rolled her eyes "I'm not addicted okay and I drink moderately"

All of them except Tiana had alcohol in front of them

Tiana gazed around sipping her drink quietly

She sighted two guys coming in together, afterwards took a seat at a corner

Wait ; That's Jamal

Their neighbor....

He's really here

"Hailey, look over there, that's Jamal right "Tiana whispered to Hailey who turned to face Tiana

She then stares at the direction Tiana had her eyes on

Yes, that's really Jamal

Their new neighbor..

"I will go get him to join us here "

Before she know it, Hailey already stood up walking towards them swiftly

"Where's she going? "Kelly asked Tiana confusingly staring at Hailey departing figure

"She saw an acquaintance so she wanted to get him to join us"Tiana responded

Kelly turned back to his drink, sipping gently

Few moments later, Hailey returned alone

"He's not coming. "

Tiana whispered to Hailey a little dissapointed after she sat down

Deep down in her, she wanted him to join them

"His friend said they will join us soon "Hailey said and then turned to Kelly who tapped her gently on her back

She started conversing with Kelly..

Tiana sadly gazed in Jamal's direction who stay fixed on his seat and doesn't look like he's planning to join them here

"I will go order the drinks"Mathew said to Jamal immediately they sat their asses down

He had not stood up when she sighted a lady scuttling towards them

"Hi Jamal, such a coincidence we met here, would you mind to join us at our table over there"she pointed her finger

Jamal gazed at her and said nothing

"Yeah, we will be there, we will join you soon"Mathew quickly said seeing Jamal was quiet

Hailey nodded and left...

"Who's that lady?"

Matthew questioned after she left

"One of the ladies who lived at the apartment opposite mine"Jamal answered

"Should we join them then, I already told her yes since you didn't say anything "

"If you want" Jamal muttered

"Okay, I will go, you stay here."

Mathew stood up and to his amazement, Jamal also stood up walking behind him

"Guys, how about we play truth or dare to make it more lively "Anna suggested

"I'm in"the lady whose eyes were on her phone was the first to speak

Her name is Maryse actually

"Me too "the others agreed

Tiana was not sure she wanna play with them, what if they dare her to do something nasty?

It's a risky game for her

She wanted to speak up but her words were halted seeing Jamal and his friend were scuttling towards them

Hold on, they are really coming here

They finally arrived and Matthew sat down followed by Jamal sitting beside him

Oh God! He really came

"I invited them over" Hailey said after the both of them arrived and the others just nodded

They didn't mind anyway

"Good, having additional people will make our game interesting "

Anna smiled.

"Hold on, what game?. "

Matthew asked feeling lost

"Oh! We wanted to play truth or dare before you guys arrived "Anna explained

Mathew turned his gaze to Jamal instantly, he knew he is not interested in things like this but he didn't say anything

Instead, he took a drink from the table, and started to sip quietly , not saying a word

He's sitting directly opposite Tiana's

she could get a full view of him from the corner she's sitting

He was putting on a white shirt with a black joggers

He looked simple and elegant with his handsome face

He's not exposing his chest this time

"Okay guys, let's start, we will be going with truth first, I will be the one in charge"Anna beamed and others concur

"What of the penalty for those who refused to say the truth or refused to do the dare " Maryse reminded

"How about letting them drink a full can of alcohol. "

Chris suggested

" I think that's okay " Ethan nodded in agreement

"Okay, we are starting now

We will be starting from the right angle"

Anna said facing Tiana since she's the first person on the roll

Tiana was a little bit nervous seeing the game will be starting from her
