Lands Of Healing

I'm not sure how it happened but once again Jess has gotten us somewhere safe. She takes on so much by herself though Cole and I wish she would share the burden. I've now got her in a room by herself and I try to help ease her mind but she isn't taking too kindly to it. She's asking us to reject her again but we won't do that. Is rather die then live without her. She is disconnected and distant but I can tell that's not who she really is. I've seen glimpses of a loving and selfless Jess. One who will be a great leader which ever position she's meant for.

Right now I'm running my fingers through her hair as she lays on my lap passed out from a break down about thirty minutes before.

I hate to do this but the king and queen has been hospitable enough for room and board and has asked us for our presence in the dining room after we had got settled in. I sighed and gently started to stroke her arm but she just rolled into me. I couldn't help the smile that crept across my face watching my mate. She is so beautiful and when she sleeps the worry lines disappear making her features soft and peaceful. I lean down and place a kiss on her temple but something felt off. I could tell she was alive but it almost felt like it was just her shell. I shake her a little but soon the panic sets in.

"Why isn't mate waking up!?!" Yells Cole as I pick her up and start running around trying to find someone to help. I'm running around down hallways up stairs but this place is like a labyrinth. I finial find the dining room down stairs and see the king and queen setting there laughing and carrying on as I walk in and something makes me snap. "What did you do to my mate!?!" Cole and I yell in unison and I see Eloise's color drain from her face.

"Ok Azazel sit down and we will explain this is why we wanted to talk to you after you settled in but we had no idea this would happen this quickly." Said Sameal with a stoitic look upon his face.

I was honestly contemplating typing his throat out but if I did I feel she would never wake up so I sat at the opposite end of the table with my love unconscious in my lap.

I say in silence waiting for them to continue. Eloise clears her throat and begins the conversation "as I'm sure you have noticed these lands are different from where you come from..."

"Get to the point!" Cole snaps at her when Sameal let's out a strong roar and even if Cole wouldn't show it he was scared shirtless.

Eloise puts her hand on Sameal's hand which seemed to be giving her the effect she wanted. "I understand you're upset but if you EVER talk to my queen like that again to my queen I will kill you I don't care who you are or what you're going through."

Cole was fighting to surface due to having his life threatened but in all honesty I'd do the same so I bowed my head trying to show the proper respect.

"What my queen was saying is these lands heal" says Sameal with the same emotionless face from earlier. "When you're here any wounds will be healed including the inside ones. If the damage is too great the will be in a coma until their body can handle it again"

We both sat and stared at each other trying to figure the other one out. "I know the pain Jess has went through I have watched from a far when she was little but lost her when her parents had her grounded."

I look up to him in shock. I knew nothing of this... in fact I knew nothing of my mate at all she would never talk to me about it. How could her parents do something so horrific to their own daughter? You don't ground anyone unless they are Rouge or an unforgivable crime like treason.

"I can see she hasn't talked to you about any of that so I willsay no more. Her story is hers too tell when she is ready. Eventually that is where the healing will start when she wakes up and you need to stay calm when she starts to open up. Also has she had a heart yet?"

I feel Cole growl at how casually he talks about something so personal and I try to cough to cover it up.

"He only asks because if she has been suppressing it when she wakes up that will be her first priory" Eloise puppies in. I feel my face heat up from embarrassment but come to think of it most wolves go into heat within the month of meeting their mate but I didn't notice anything. "We've been so busy I guess I haven't even noticed"

I see the side of Sameal's mouth twitch before saying "then you're going to have your hands full and probably twice as long as the average wolf."

"How do you know this?" I ask him. He acts like he's reading some texts from a history book.

I see Sameal tense up a little before saying "philisfy is the land of healing but we also are the keeper of the books that come from the moon Goddess. That's the only way to communicate is for her to send messages through the books... well until Jess she is the key to unleashing all the God's and restoring things to it's natural nature and you sir are the key holder. Neither one of you know how important you are."

"Can I see our story?" I ask but Sameal shakes his head.

"If you read your future it will change it so I'm sorry I can not let you and to be honest you two will be writing the ending yourself for she can't see what the out come will be."

I take a couple deep breathes in trying to recover from the shock I just received.

"I do suggest that you both read the books you received and then read each other's. The more you two know about each other the better."

I nod my head remembering the books we had received and now getting an ice to read what it has to say. Will her book open anything up that might help me break through her walls she's had up for so long? Will my book give me any ideas how to protect my love? I stand wit j my love in hand. "I shall retire for the evening but will see you in the morning for the rest of our group. I'm ready to step up and help as much as I can"

Sameal smiled at that statement walks down to my end and gives my shoulder a hearty pat. "There's a spark of the leader who is meant to be"
