Chapter 2 <3

506 Words
‘Da da da dun dun dun da daaaa, bing bing’ I was being chased through an alley by two murderous looking masked men. They frantically whipped their heads around looking for any trace of me, I ran as fast as lighting down the left path and onto the main road. There was a loud ringing in my ear I just could not get rid of, trying to shake it off a large firm hand grabbed my shoulder and spun me around. Suddenly I shot up gasping for air. PHEW! I wiped the hair out my face and tried to control my breaths instead of panting like a dog. It was just a dream. I slapped the dismiss button on my alarm that just kept going on and on and on. Today is the first day of year 10. I got up took a shower and proceeded to straighten my unruly, frizzy brown curls. Satisfied with my hair I put on my school uniform; a blouse, skirt, tie and navy blue blazer with my schools yellow and blue crest on it. Personally I like uniforms it’s less hassle finding an outfit everyday. Leaving my house in what felt like stepping into the North Pole was actually just a normal morning in the upcoming winter in London. I climbed through a gap in the fence to come out onto my best friends, Willows road. I met Willow in the second term of year 7, I didn’t like her at first but once we actually spoke we clicked and instantly became besties after our previous ones were bitches. We met up and got on the bus crammed with people and in about 40 minutes we arrived at school after our morning sugar eating competition. We entered school and laughed and joked with some of our friends. Ten minutes later we headed to our registration groups. I entered and sat down in my normal seat just as my never ending crush walked through the door, Lucian. We had been on and off during the four years of high school and had meaningless other boyfriends or girlfriends. Him more than me even including my bestie Willow but that’s a story for another time. Something pulled us together, always gravitating towards each other. Just like magnets we would attract each other when it suited and repel at other times. He grew up to be that tall, dark and handsome guy most girls wanted. His eyes still reminded me of warm hot chocolate on a cold night or the mesmerising dark colours during autumn when leaves fall, with glorious dark eyelashes fanning them. His hair had grown out now only making him more delicious with muscles from playing football and basketball for the school teams. I swear the butterfly cage from back then had now upgraded into a full blown zoo, feeling like the beginning of jumanji when animals are released. Just knowing my luck though Lucian was as much a player in school as on he was on the sports teams.
