11. Maddie over Jasmine

1378 Words
Maddie walked around her block for good hour trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with herself, she had sat at that pub and let Cee-Jay the king of f**k boys insert his fingers into her fold and rub her as she shamelessly moaned in front of everybody. She really started questioning her decision to give Cee-jay closure as was her mission of going to the pub. Jasmine was too dangerous to stick around and she had to kill her off regardless of what Cee-Jay needed. He wasn't in love with her, he just wanted to sleep with her, what the hell made Maddie think that he actually might try to be decent. By the time she got home everybody was asleep so she went on into her room and drank some sleeping pills because if she didn't she will remember all the details of tonight. In other news Grant entered Silas's office abruptly  "I think she is perfect."  he stated and Silas was in no mood for his stupid suggestions  "Don't you ever work?"  Silas asked his best friend and Grant smiled  "Nope, unlike you I actually trust my employees."  he smiled and Silas's face remained the same  "well I don't plus I'm investing so technically I'm your boss."  Silas reminded Grant that he was a shareholder in his business and it was not in a demeaning way he was just trying his hardest to make Grant get his long nose out of his business and stop giving him bad ideas.  "I know how this goes, but remember you're a shareholder so unless your shares are compromised just shut up."  Grant retaliated.  "anyway have you asked her?"  Grant asked Silas and he shook his head while reading whatever document he had on hand.  "why!?"  Grant was invested in this matter  "after all you're losing time."  he stated and Silas looked at him again  "Just get out."  he pleaded. It was the weekend and Maddie decided to head to the office, weekends were optional but she wanted to get her mind off of Cee-jay because as soon as she woke up her mind didn't want her to forget those two minutes of feeling completely hot for Cee-jay.  "Another date?"  her mom asked her on her way put and Maddie shut the door as if she was trying to break it. She had lied to go see Cee-Jay and now she doesn't know how to tell her mother everything.  Cee-Jay on the other hand woke up feeling Jolly even after being slapped like that by Jasmine his instincts told him that he will be seeing Jasmine again. It was not because of the whole public s*x scene but because there was something in her eyes that told him that she enjoyed his company as much as he enjoyed hers. He didn't sleep at the dorms again last night, he had to come home this weekend because Candy and her family were coming over. Candy was one sweet girl whose family and the Cockney family have been friends for generations but this time they had taken it a step further and they had decided to be in-laws. Candy's parents and Cee-jay's had sat down and discussed how Candy and Cee-Jay were close since they were young and how their chemistry was off the roof so they saw it fit that they marry the two. Of course Candy and Cee-jay were close but that was years ago before Candy and her family moved, his mom died of cancer and his father finally finding love again and getting Cee-jay the greatest stepmom ever. After all of these events Candy and Cee-jay were practically strangers, but it didn't erase the fact that there was once a time that Cee-jay had a crush on Candy which was when she hit puberty and all of these ridiculous wedding stuff became a topic and Candy had the same crush too. The difference is Cee-Jay got over it and became a playboy while Candy grew more and more in love with his stupid a*s. Candy knew Cee-jay's reputation and she knew that Cee-jay had been long over her and all she was to him was a distant family friend that they saw a few times around the year but she couldn't let go, she didn't want to. Cee-jay being a son raised to take responsibility for his word and action knew that soon enough whether he wanted or not he would have to marry her. He really didn't care honestly he was okay with whatever, he had never been in love and he didn't think he will ever be. He had seen his hare of dumb girls all falling for the same lie and all who kept choosing scoundrels like him over good guys like his friends. People didn't believe it but Cee-jay was the only playboy in the group the rest were tagged like that by association and Tyler had his on and off seasons. Cee-Jay had tried to explain to Candy that the crush was over and he was basically a w***e, he really did try his best to be honest with her but her response to all of that was they could make it work. Cee-jay knew his father would never allow him to break his word so he was stuck with Candy. Candy said that as long as he doesn't all in love with any other girl then they would be fine, Cee-jay took the deal because there was no way he would fall in love with any girl including Candy herself. He didn't know where he lost all feeling of deep connection to women but he just didn't have those feelings anymore. Maddie sat in Silas's office and instead of going through her work to reduce some for during the week she was glued to her phone checking out Cee-jay's socials. Before jasmine came to life she had Cee-jay as her friend but she never really participated that much in social media. She didn't post, like or comment on anybody's pictures including her ones that belonged to her best friend. After last nigh she was just into Cee-jay, she had even convinced herself that she was reminding herself of what a dog he is but after an hour of scrolling it definitely didn't seem so anymore. What was strange was how many girls had left comments under each and every post of his and Maddie remembered that if she ever became Cee-jay's girlfriend this is what she would suffer. Eventually common sense came back to Maddie and she put her phone down, she knew this wasn't going to be enough so she clocked out of work without getting any work done and headed straight home. She got home and handed her mom her phone  "Please keep this for me for about a week."  she humbly asked and her mom looked at her looking for an explanation  "why honey?"  Sara was confused  "What actually happened on your date?"  Sara finally got that question off her chest.  "why do you think this has anything to do with him?"  Maddie didn't want to talk about yesterday to anyone especially her mom. "Well you have never handed me your phone on a silver platter also you have work and school."  Sara voiced out her concerns and she still wanted the news on how the date went.  "Mom I'm not telling you anything about my date"  Maddie knew her mother too well  "and the phone thing is an experiment, so just hold onto it for a week."  Maddie left her mother's bedroom before her mom could try to dig out some more gossip from her.  "Mindy you want an ice cream date?"  Maddie screamed across the hall for her sister  "Sure"  he sister poked her head on her door  "Just give me ten minutes."  and then she shut the door preparing herself for a date with her big sister. A lot of people tend to think that the differences between the Briggs sisters are what separate them and they really aren't close but the truth is they are super close. They hang out with walks or ice cream dates at which is the time they would tell each other everything and ask each other everything.
