episode 1: Kelly stared at the dusty village streets , her eyes squinting against the sun. she'd grown up here ,In this small village called Mbumbulu, with her parents and little sister, Kezlen. But life had been tough. Her parents had left years ago, chasing a better life, leaving Kelly to take care for Kezlen. Now Kelly is 16, and Kezlen was 8. They lived with their dad, His new wife, Thandi and Her son, Jaden. Thandi's witchcraft was a constant presence, A dark energy that made Kelly's skin crawl. As Kelly walked back to the house, she noticed a figure lingering at the gate. Her heart skipped a beat. It was her mom, standing there looking uncertain. "mom?" Kelly whispered, her voice barely audible. Her mom's eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, Kelly saw a glimmer of the mom she'd known. But it was quickly replaced by a cold, distant gaze. "Kelly, I'm back," her mom said a flat voice. "And I've bought someone to meet you". Kelly's eyes widened as her mom stepped aside , revealing a tall, imposing man with a stern expression. "This is my new husband ,kofi". Kelly's world titled. what was going on? why was her mom here, with this stranger? And what did it mean for her and Kezlen? As Kelly's mom and Kofi walked into the yard, Thandi's eyes narrowed, Her gaze darting between them. The air was thick with tension. something was brewing, and Kelly wasn't she wanted to know what it was... EPISODE 2: Kelly mind whirled as she watched her mom and Kofi settle to the small house. The air was thick with un spoken words and tension. Thandi's eyes seemed to gleam with interest, But Kelly knew better -she was plotting something. As night fell, Kelly slipped out to the backyard, needing space to think. Kezlen followed, her eyes wide with questions. "Kelly, what's going on? whybis mom here?" she whispered. Kelly hesitated, unsure how to explain. "I don't know Kezlen , but we need to be careful". suddenly the wind picked up and Kelly felt a shiver run down her spine . she glance around, sensing eyes on her. Thandi stood at the kitchen windows watching. "Kelly come inside,"Thandi called, her voice sugary sweet. "It's not safe out there " Kelly's instincts screamed warning, but she nodded, leading Kezlen inside. as there settled into their small room , Kelly whispered, "we need to talk to ancestors .See if there can tell us what's going on." Kezlen nodded, her eyes shining with missed fear and excitement. They'd always had a special connection to the ancestors, A gift pass down through their family As they closed their eyes. focusing on their spirits, Kelly felt a presence, "Kakuli", a soft voice whispered. "Danger is coming. Be ready" Kelly's eyes snapped open, her heart racing. what did it mean?And how can they prepare for something they didn't understand? EPISODE 3 Kelly couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered after the ancestors warning. "Danger is coming, be ready." The words echoed in her mind as she moved around the house , trying to keep up with the chaotic morning routine. Thandi was in acparticularly foul mood, snapping at everyone, including Jaden . Kelly wondered what was bothering her, but kept her head down. focusing on getting Kezlen to school As she walked Kezlen to class , the warm sun in her face brought a brief moment of calm ,"Kelly I'm scared," Kezlen whispered, her eyes darting around . Kelly squeezing her hand . "we're in this together, Kezlen, always ." when Kezlen return home, she found her mom in the kitchen, staring blankly at a cup on tea,"mom?" , Kelly said softly Her mom looked up, A faint smile on her lips . "Kelly I'm sorry for everything." Kelly's heRt twisted. what was she apologizing for?before she could ask , Kofi appeared , his expression stern. " Kelly I need to talk." He led her tonthe living room, Thandi watched with hawk-like intensity. " your mom and I have been looking into your....abilities," Kofi said , His voice measured. "we think it time you learn to control them." Kelly instincts screamed warning, what did they want with her gift? " I don't know what you're talking about," she said trying to sound nonchalant Kofi's eyes narrowed, "Don't play dumb, Kelly.we know about the ancestors. And we'll help you harness that power ....for your own good." Kelly felt a chill. what did they plan to do with her? EPISODE 4 Kelly's heart raced as Kofi led her tonthe backyard, Thandi following closely. The air was thick with tension. "we'll Start your training now",Kofi said his eyes glining with an intensity that made Kelly uncomfortable Training?what did he mean ? Kelly's mind whirled as Kofi began to explain rituals and incantations , Thandi nodding along , The words sounded like a mix African traditions and something darker Kezlen appeared at the edge of the yard , watching with wide eyes . Kelly tried to signal her to go back , but it was too late. Thandi spotted her , "Bring the girl," she said , her voice cold . Kofi nodded. "Kezlen come here " Kezlen hesitated than walked slowly to Kelly's side. voice: "THEY'LL WILL USE HER TO HET TO YOU ", a soft voice whispered in Kelly ear -it was the ancestors. Kelly's instincts screamed warning, No leave Kezlen out of this ", she said , trying to act firm. Thandi laughed, a low ,menacing sound. "you'll do as you're told . both of you have power . we'll use it." suddenly, Kofi started chanting, his words weaving a spell. Kelly felt a strange energy building. Kezlen grabbed Kelly's hand, her eyes flashing with fear The ancestors whispered grew louder, "RESIST , Kakuli. Protect your sister ". But how? Kelly's mind was jumble. Kofi's words were taking affect-she could feel her control slipping.... Kezlen squeezed her hand harder . "Kelly do something ".
