Unconditional Love (A journey from hate to love)

Author’s POV Anna is an illegitimate child whose parents left her at an orphanage when she was four years old. The only thing she knows about her life is that her parents were both wealthy and had an affair from which Anna was born. A nanny cared for her from the moment she was born. When she turned four and her parents found it difficult to conceal their illegal child from society, they gave her to Nancy, a sister in the Floyd Country Church. When Anna turned 18, Sister Nancy told her about her parents because she believed she had the right to know the truth about the dark part of her life. Nonetheless, Anna has worked hard to live a normal life; after leaving the orphanage, she began working at Jake's Cafe House, one of the best coffee cafes in town. She is also attending university to finish her degree. She has also made a few regulars here at the cafe, one of whom is Richard the Old Man, who has been coming to Jake's coffee shop every evening without fail. Richard and his wife moved to town about six months ago. Anna usually pays the old couple a visit once a week, sometimes twice, and they have lunch and supper together. Anna, as an orphan, has always desired a family, and while spending time with the old fellas, she has begun to feel happy, as if she now has a family.. During her visits, she also noticed Richard's nephew, Adrain, paying a visit to the elderly couple. Anna has never spoken to him; she has only exchanged glances with him. Adrain is known to be a devil businessman, and his devilish appearance speaks volumes about him. This is one of the main reasons Anna has never approached him, even though she likes him, and his attitude has made Anna certain that he will never fall for her in this lifetime. That doesn't bother Anna too much; she just likes him and doesn't expect him to reciprocate; after all, who would marry a girl born of an extramarital affair? ***** It's a lovely day in Floyd, and Anna is behind the counter, making coffee and taking orders. She heard a familiar voice say to her, "Anna, Good Evening. You look so lively as always." Richard entered the cafe while greeting Anna. Anna beamed at Richard. "Hey Richard, I'm fine, and thanks for the compliment; I'll get you your usual coffee." It will be ready in a minute. " "Of course, Anna. Anna, my child, may we speak in private? It will take some time because I need to talk to you about something. Make us both a cup of coffee. "Come to the table outside." Richard motions to a table outside the cafe. And Anna agrees with a smile. Richard and Anna usually talk while Anna is working at the counter, but today he wants to talk to her privately. Anna is puzzled, but she makes coffee for both of them and brings it to where Richard is sitting.
