Our mother sent the both of us to take on some errands for the party. I really wanted to see Marie. I want to know if in fact she is our mate. I didn't want to disturb her last night, so tonight is our chance to talk to her and hopefully she doesn't reject us because of our past. After a couple of hours of being gone it was time to finally head back. Delcan was also making his way back to the pack house. I told him to wait for me when I got there. I didn't want one of us seeing Marie to scare her away. I wanted the both of us to approach her. That way she will also know for sure if we are her mates.

Just like I had asked he was waiting for me but he had a few guards with him. “What are they doing here?” I was confused. “Well they are here to bring the things back to where mom is. That way we can do what we need to do and she gets what she sent us out for.” That was some good thinking on his part. “Alright, let's go and get dressed for the party, and then when we come down we can look for Marie and go from there.” I suggested. He agreed and off we went to go and change.

I put on A black button down with the top few buttons undone and a pair of dark jeans with my black sneakers. Then I took some gel and rubbed it in my hands and then through my hair. Then I ran the comb through my hair until I was happy with the way that it looks. When Dalton and I met back in the hallway to go down and find Marie, I saw that we had on the same kind of outfit. The only difference is that he had a gray button down on. Other than that we were doing the whole matching twin thing. Not that we mean to… it just seems to happen a lot between the two of us when we have to do something like a party or an event. Our opinion on looking dressed up is the same.

We got to the top of the stairs and I was the first one to see her walking past the staircase with Novi and Carissa. They were making their way outside through the side door. I am sure that she did that to avoid us. That is something that she has gotten good at. I mean I guess I would do the same thing if the roles were reversed. “You know I am not sure if I want to do this right now.” I said I felt pain in my heart. “Why?” Dalton asked “Because, we both have treated her like s**t. For like her whole life. I don't think she is even going to accept us. I don't know, what if she makes us look like a fool in front of everyone?” I asked.

“I don't think that she will do that. I think that she is going to be surprised enough that we approach her in front of everyone.” He answered. It made me feel a little bit better. I just didn't want her to feel some kind of way about all of this. I mean I know she is going to feel some kind of way because of our past, I just want her to at least give us a chance to explain to her and tell her how sorry we really are.

We stood there for a moment more and then transcended the stairs. We took each stairs slowly making our entrance to the bottom floor of the pack house a steady one. We were both just as nervous as ever knowing that in just a moment or so whatever happens is either going to be good or bad. There is no in between. As we traced Mari’s steps to the backyard I was instantly hit with her scent. She smelled of fresh Berries and Vanilla. The most magnificent thing I have ever smelled. My eyes instantly darkened as My wolf Elixir wanted to get to her as quickly as possible.

And by the looks of my brother’s wolf Silver also wanted out. I could hear Elixir howling in excitement that we finally found our mate. It put a smile on my face because I have never heard him this happy since I became of age. He kept pushing and pushing to go and find her. Dalton and I stood there scanning the crowd looking for Marie. And finally we spotted her. Slowly we made our way over to her. I could see the look on Carissa’s face when she noticed us coming their way. She tapped Marie and she and Novi turned in our direction. Marie was in complete shock. We towered over here at 6 '7 and weigh almost 250 pounds of pure muscle. She had to only stand about 5 '5 - 5' 6’ and weighs about 150. She was a goddess. And the most beautiful wolf I have ever seen. She locked eyes with me first looking at me underneath her long dark eyelashes. I just wanted to lift her up and kiss her right hare, right now. But I knew that would be a little much right now considering I don't even know what she feels. Dalton leaned down and spoke something to her in her ear that I couldn't hear. I decided to speak out when I spoke and she looked at me. “Can we please go somewhere and talk?” I asked her kind of loudly due to the fact that the music was playing. A few she wolves that we around us must have heard me because then they looked at me giving me the death stare.

Marie shook her head no. I knew that she was scared just like I was. However she was showing her feelings all over her face. Finally I couldn't take it any more. Every woman was looking at us and every guy was too. I knew that today was a big day, but it was also a big day for Marie. I took her by the hand and Dalton did the same to her other hand. She was looking back and forth between the two of us. We walked her up to the stage where we stood next to our mother and father. Novi and Carissa stood by the stairs and just watched. Dalton was so eager to get to the mic that he almost knocked it over. “Ladies and gentlemen,” He started. “Before we go ahead with the birthday wishes and the Alpha title being handed down, we would like to introduce you to Marie here. Some of you may know her and some of you may not.” Then he backed up and gave me the mic. “We would like to introduce you to her, she is our mate and all of our new future Luna.”

We both turned and smiled at her. She was still looking back and forth between the two of us. Then it looked like she began to hyperventilate before her eyes rolled back and she passed out. I was the one that caught her before she hit the ground. She was out cold. I didn't know what could have caused this. Of course I was more than worried about her. We weren't even her mates for a whole day and this happened. I felt like it was all our fault. And Elixir thinks the same thing. It must have been just too much to handle all at one time.

“Mom call the hospital and let them know that Dalton and I are going to be bringing their Luna in and to make sure someone is there waiting for us. I need to make sure she is okay.” I said to her very concerned for Marie’s wellbeing. “Okay my son, we will wrap things up here and then we will meet you there.” She explained. “No need, stay here and enjoy the party. We will be in touch as soon as we know something.” I told her. I didn't want her to freak out like I was internally. Dalton and my father then helped me get Marie to the car. I laid her in the back seat and then let Dalton drive. I placed her head on my lap and stroked her hair. “Please come back to me Luna, there is so much that I need to make up for. So much that I want to experience with you. I am sorry.” I whispered to her as tears filled my eyes.

I knew this was my fault. And Daltons. This was from all the years that we treated her badly. This was from that time she broke her wrist and ended up in the hospital. This is because we never even gave her the time of day… and now we want her. Well secretly what no one knows was that I have always wanted her. Even though it may not have seemed like it. I did. She was the only girl that ever stuck out to me. I just hope that I get a chance to tell her all of this. More so that she gives me a chance to make it all up to her.
