***** Daltons POV *****

Delcan and I have been sitting here with Marie in the hospital now for a few hours. She hasn't come too from passing out and it is getting us very worried. She should have already woken up. The doctor came in to check on Marie every hour. This time when he came in I had a few questions for him. “Hey doc, Why hasn't she woken up yet?” I didn't understand passing out and the reason or causes. “Well Alpha, to be honest there could be a number of reasons as to why she hasn't woken up yet. The brain is a very mysterious organ. When the body and brain get stressed out to the max or have some kind of trauma, the brain will do whatever it needs to do to protect itself and the body it is attached to. Therefore the stress of what happened tonight is why she passed out. When she wakes up will be up to her.”

I didn't realize that because of our actions tonight and doing what we did to her in front of the whole pack plus many others, was the cause of her passing out. That just adds yet another f****d up thing that we have done to her to the books. This is not going to help My brother and I’s case about her giving us a chance. Hell, she told us no and still we forced her to go to the stage. We need to be better and do better when it comes to Marie. If not, then we are definitely going to lose her.

The doc wasn't in the room long before he left. Only giving us the instruction that if she wakes up to call him, but that he would be back in an hour. I looked up at the clock in the room and she had now been out for over 4 hours. Our party has got to be over by now so I decided to link my mother.

“Hey mom, she still hasn't woken up. How did the party go?” I wanted to give her a quick update. “The party is still going, no one wants to leave until you guys come back and we can announce you as the Alphas” I shook my head. I told Delcan what was going on, and he told me to let our mother know that he was going to link our father.

***** Delcan’s POV *****

“Dad, can you please update everyone. I don't want them waiting around for a long time for us to come back. Marie still hasn't woken up and I don't know how long it is going to be before she does. If they all choose to stay fine, but if not we can redo it again once Marie is better.” I wanted to let our pack know the status of their Luna. My father agreed to be my messenger. I thanked him and went back over to Marie laying on the bed. I took her hand in mine and paced it to my cheek. “Marie baby, Please wake up. I am sorry about everything, including our past. Please come back to me.” I don't know why but I needed her. And so did my Silver.

“We need our mate!” Silver whined. “I know we do.” I answered him. “I warned you not to be so mean to her. I just knew that she was going to be important to us! You and your brother did this. And if she wakes up and rejects us I promise you that you will also lose me. I can't believe you did this to her.” He shouted now, becoming more angry with me. “Damn it Silver I know this! I know how much we f****d up. And whether you believe me or not I know that it is going to take a lot to make this all better. Hell it can even take years to make everything all better. But I am willing to work on everything for as long as it takes.” I assured him. “You better.”

Another hour went by and still nothing. Marie was still out. Dalton started to pace the room as I just sat there next to Marie. The doctor came back in but this time he wasn't alone. My mother, father, Carissa and Novi entered the room with him. I was shocked to see them. “What are you guys doing here?” I asked. “Isn't the party still going?” Dalton asked. “No, once I told them what was going on here they all decided to head home for the night and agreed to do a redo another time.” My father informed us. “Well at least once Marie wakes up and we get to go home there won't be such a big crowd there.” I stated.

I was sitting there with Marie when I swear she squeezed my hand. “DOC! SHE MOVED!” I shouted. Everyone in the room stopped and got closer to the bed. I got up to make room for the doctor so that he could come and get a closer look at Marie. Indeed I was right. She moved. And then she moved again. She was beginning to stir and this was a good sign. This means that she was waking up.

Marie put her hand up to her face and covered her eyes. “Please shut the lights off…” Was the first thing that she said. I immediately went over to the lights and shut them all off. Once she opened her eyes Novi and Carissa ran over to her. They started to shower her with love and she was very happy to accept it. To say the least Dalton and I were wanting to know that love from Marie. We were honestly a little jealous about her being so affectionate with the girls.

After everyone was done talking and loving on Marie it was our turn to do or say something. But because it is such a sensitive subject our parents and the girls left the room along with the doctor to give us some alone time. Once everyone was gone Dalton was the first to speak to her. “Marie, I am so sorry for our past. I know that both me and Delcan are beyond sorry.” Marie was silent for a moment before she spoke. “Yeah well the only reason that the two of you are sorry about anything is because now we are mates. If we weren't you both would still be treating me like shit.” She was very upset, and had every right to be.

“No Marie, this apology is a long time coming. Yes now we are mates but that doesn't have anything to do with it. We should have never treated you the way that we did.” I stated. “Lies,” She responded. “Really, the both of us have been wanting to talk with you, and then, well we found out we were mates so the need to talk with you deepened. We just didn't expect it to happen like this.” Delcan was getting upset. I can tell that it wasn’t with Marie, but with himself. He even had tears in his eyes.

Marie sighed. “Fine, I will accept both of your apology, however I do not completely forgive you both for all that has happened. I do have a question for you though… why did you both drag me to the stage?” I looked over at Dalton and he looked at me.

***** Dalton’s POV *****

“We wanted to show you off to the whole pack. We wanted everyone to know that you were not just the future Luna but also our mate. We are very excited to have you as a mate and wanted to let everyone know about it.” Delcan said. “But I told you guys no. I said that I didn't want to go and talk right then and yet you went against what I said.” She explained. “We realize now, that we shouldn't have done that. We really were just super excited. Are you going to reject us?” I asked and the room went dead silent. Everyone was quiet for a few minutes before Marie answered my question. “No… Yes… I am not sure honestly. There is a lot of not great history between the three of us.”

My heart dropped the minute those words came out of her mouth. I already knew we were in deep s**t for what our past with Marie was like. I just prayed that she would fully forgive us. I guess that's just wishful thinking. “Marie, please give us a chance to make it up to you.” I begged her. I didn't want to be rejected. I knew that my brother and I could make it up to her. I just needed her to give us a chance. “I don't know,” she responded. I hung my head low… I was ashamed of myself and my past actions. I should have known better being a future Alpha. That is not the way that you treat pack members… I just don't have a good enough reason as to why we treated her like s**t. And now, the Moon Goddess has paired the three of us together and we are getting what we deserve. The only thing my brother and I can do is plead with Marie.

“Please let us prove ourselves to you then if you want to reject us we will completely understand.” Delcan said and I shook my head in agreement. I can see that Marie is actually thinking about what he just said. I just hope her next statement agrees with giving us a chance.
