***** Marie’s POV *****

The doctor came back into the room . “Can I go home doc? Or do I have to stay?” I asked not really wanting to spend another minute here in this hospital room. “Well Marie as long as you are feeling alright I don't see a problem with letting you go home.” At this time The girls, Nevada and Daniel came back into the room. The doctor did one more set of vitals and then turned to me. “Marie, you are good to go. I will unhook you from the machine and then go and get your paperwork together for you to go home.” I thanked the doctor and then he left.

“Are you going to ride with us? Or are you going to ride with the twins?” Carissa asked. I knew that she was a little worried considering what happened at their party tonight. I thought about it for a few minutes. The doc came back in and gave me my discharge papers. I looked over at the girls. “I think I am going to ride with the twins.” Novi and Carissa as well as Nevada and Daniel all looked shocked at what I said. But this is something that I need to do. I need to see what the ride is going to be like.

That way I will know for sure if I will give them the chance that they are asking for. Dalton and Delcan helped me get up out of the bed even though I didn't need any help. It was funny to see them act this way. Then much to my surprise Delcan put my shoes on for me. That was not what I was expecting. “Are they alright? Did I do okay?” He asked, wanting to make sure that what he did was good enough for me. I nodded to let him know that it was.

THe ride to the pack house was only about 10 minutes but for some reason it seemed like I was in the car with the two of them for hours. I sat in the back of the car with Delcan. He placed his hand on mine. I turned to him and smiled as the mate bond sent sparks all throughout my body. Dalton looked at me through the rearview mirror. “Hey! Hands off!!” He shouted and Delcan laughed. I just smiled. I scooted slightly away and placed my hands onto my lap. I looked out the window at the trees passing us for the rest of the ride.

Finally we made it to the pack house. As we walked up to the pack house I asked the twins if they would ask their parents to meet us in the living room. “There is something that I want to talk to the four of you about.” They agreed as we entered the pack house. Nevada and Daniel were waiting in the living room like I had wanted. I explained to them everything that happened. As soon as I told them about my parents Nevada seemed to get really upset. “I am not very happy as you might be able to tell. But I do understand that all of it was done to protect you Marie.”

I then explained to them about the royalty part and how I don't know what that would mean with the twins being my mate. “I assure you Marie that it will all work itself out.” Nevada said to me with a smile on her face. However her smile didn't meet her eyes. I could tell that the thought of her boys going with me to the fairy realm was not what she expected. “There is one other thing, my parents told me that shadow people were after me. And I had to choose to either face them in the fairy realm or in this realm. I didn't want to go with them. I know nothing about anything that has to do with them. So I decided to stay here and deal with what ever is to come with the shadow people.”

There were a lot of questions surrounding the shadow people. I explained to them everything that I was told about them. But I didn't know much. Daniel offered to do some research and find out everything that he can about them. Everyone at that point tried to assure me that everything was going to get done to conquer the shadow people. And that they were doing to protect me. The twins went beyond and said that they would protect me with their lives. I told them I didn't want them to do that. After we were done talking I went upstairs to my bathroom and got changed out of this party dress. It was already very late so I wanted to get into something comfy and get into bed. I got into bed and put the TV on when there was a knock on my door. I huffed and got back out of bed and went to the door. Much to my surprise it was the twins in their pajamas Delcan had popcorn and Dalton had two movies in his hands. “Do you want to hang out and watch a movie?” Dalton asked. I looked at the two of them over and over at the time. It was really late and I wanted to rest. But I haven't eaten much today and the popcorn looked so good I couldn't help but agree.

***** Delcan’s POV *****

Dalton and I sat on either side of Marie. In the middle of the last movie Marie fell asleep. Her head was on Dalton and her feet were on me. I carefully carried Marie to her bedroom and tucked her in. I kissed the top of the head good night and left. However Dalton and I had the same plan. I didn't want to ever be without Marie again. I also know that it would be a little much to ask her to sleep with us or to have us sleep with her so we did the next best thing. Dalton and I grabbed out blankets and pillows and made ourselves little makeshift beds right outside of her door.

***** Marie’s POV *****

I woke up in the morning and after brushing my teeth I went to head down stairs to go and get some coffee. I can't live or start my day without it. However upon opening my door I almost tripped over the guys. “What are you doing here?” I was a little confused. “Well we wanted to stay with you last night, but we didn't want to wake you or make you feel like we were pushing you. Therefore staying out here was the next best thing to being as close to you as we could be.” I bit my lip knowing how awesome it sounded. Not to mention how caring the boys have been.

I step over them and make my way down stairs. The boys trailed very close behind me like two little lost puppies. Once down stairs Delcan pulled out the chair at the counter for me and ushered me to sit down. “Can I make your coffee for you?” Dalton asked me as Delcan took the seat right next to me. I gave them both a smile. “Sure why not.” I answered. Delcan then asked for a cup as well and Dalton got to work whipping up three cups. “Marie, how do you take your coffee?”He asked. “LIght and sweet please.” I answered.

Once the coffee was made he came and sat right next to me and the three of us drank our coffee in silence. “Are you hungry?” Delcan asked “Not really…” I am really not much of a morning breakfast eater.

After I was done with my coffee I went upstairs and drew a bath. I needed a nice long soak. I got dressed and headed back down stairs where the twins were again waiting for me with flowers. “Marie, we would like to take you out to dinner if that is okay with you?” Dalton asked. And I agreed. This was very sweet of them. The both of them are trying very hard to show me that they have changed. And even though it has been less than 24 hours since I decided to give them a chance they are really putting forth the effort. I thought about it for a minute and then agreed to go with them.

I couldn't help but smile. I couldn't help but really start to feel like this was just the way that it should have always been. After asking them if what I was wearing was good enough and them telling me that it was just fine, it happened. The one thing that I didn't expect but should have. “Hey Alpha Delcan and Dalton… Busy later?” Some she wolf asked them. They both looked at her as if she had two heads. I on the other hand could feel the heat rising in my body. I was really getting upset about this. “I think that we could really have some fun. And it can be just the three of us or I have a friend that I can have tagalong…” she continued. I knew that she didn't give a s**t that I was standing there. This was when I snapped and went for her throat. “Listen here you w***e of a wolf. In case you missed it the other night. I am your future Luna and you will respect me and my mates or you will feel my wrath.”
