About ten minutes after the appetizer was finished our food showed up. As the three of us ate we started to have a conversation.

“Marie, we really want to apologize for our actions all these years,” Delcan started.

“You both know it is going to take a little more than an ‘I’m sorry’ to fix and or prove anything.” I responded

“We know that's why we started with dinner,” Dalton added.

“After dinner we have a surprise for you.” Delcan explained.

“A surprise?” I asked

“Yes.” Dalton responded.

I was excited and nervous about this surprise. I had to excuse myself to go and use the bathroom. The lights were off when I entered which made it a little creepy. I finally found the light switch. Once the lights were on I used it. When I was done the lights went out. But this time when I got up the lights came back on. They must be motion censored.

Then out of nowhere I heard the bathroom door open but no footsteps coming in. SO i figured they changed their minds. When I exited the stall to wash my hands I noticed none of the stall doors were closed. As soon as I turned the water on I heard footsteps. I looked in the mirror and saw someone standing in a cloak with the hood up.

“Hello Marie, I have been waiting a long time for this.” the mystery woman said.

“Who are you?” I asked and she rushed me. I fell to the ground and instantly linked Delcan. “Someone in the bathroom with me. They are trying to attack me! Please come help me!!”

The mystery woman swiped at me and I put my arms up to block her. Instantly I felt blood running down my arm. Before I could counter attack the bathroom door burst open and the twins came in. This mystery woman disappeared with a poof of black smoke.

“Who the hell was that?” Dalton asked me.

“I don't know… I think it is a shadow person.” I answered.

“What the hell?!” Delcan began, “we need to get back to the pack house.”

Back at the pack house Nevada and Daniel met us in the living room. I needed more info about these shadow people and I don't know how to contact my parents. I voiced my concern about that and Nevada spoke up.

“I can get a message to your parents. Maybe even get them to come here.”

“That would be ideal.” I responded

I turned and Delcan was right behind me. Out of instinct I buried my face in his chest and began to cry.

“Babe… please don't cry. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you again.” Delcan said as he stroked my hair.

I could feel that he was telling me the truth.

“Yeah we won't leave your side until this is over. No matter how long it takes.” Dalton added.

I reach out and grab Dalton, bringing him closer to me. Making sure that I have one hand on each of the twins. The feeling of them quickly calmed me down. Delcan whipped the tears from my face and then kissed my forehead.

“Are you up for your surprise?” Dalton asked me. Delcan gave him a stern look. As if to tell him now wasn't the best time.

“Yes I think a surprise would lighten my mood.” I didn't just want to sit here and wallow in my feelings.

Delcan was surprised with my answer.

“I need something to get my mind off of what happened tonight.” I informed them.

“Are you sure?” Delcan asked.

“Yes I am positive.”

Dalton was beyond excited. He and Delcan took each of my hands in theirs and led me out of the back door. Once we were outside they blind folded me.

“Don't worry, we will guide you.” Delcan assured me.

I nodded, giving the twins full control. At first it was weird letting them blindfold me. A lot of emotions ran through my body. All I could think about was our past and how they used to treat me.

“Marie, we can't say enough how sorry we are about our past.” Dalton said

“And we know that you never had a real prom because of us.” Delcan added.

“Soo…” Dalton chimed in…

They took the blind fold off. Varissa and Novi were standing there all dressed up.

“We would like to know if you would do us the honor and be our date to this prom?” Delcan asked.

I looked around and saw they set up a whole ass prom for me. I was speechless. I know Carissa and Novi had something to do with this , but regardless it was all beautiful. The outside was decorated with fairy lights, music, and a snack table. I then gave the twins a quick kiss on the cheek before the girls pulled me inside the pool house. Inside was a beautiful sparkly gray dress that was waiting for me to change into. I couldn't help but cry happy tears.

I got dressed and headed back outside. The boys' faces were in awe of me. They stood there with their mouths wide open.

“What? You have never seen a shewolf in a dress before?” I said playfully.

“We have…” Dalton answered.

“But none that looks as gorgeous as you do.” Delcan added.

Their statements made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Plus they’ve decorated the pool house and the pool house patio to the nines. Besides what I already saw there were also balloons, a table for us to sit at but there was also a makeshift dance floor that they must have put together for us to dance on. The fairy lights hung up giving everything a soft glow is my favorite part of the decorations. It makes everything look magical just like how I imagined prom to be. However, having two mates makes dancing a little difficult. Novi started the music and much to my surprise it's all my favorite songs.

“Thanks for doing the music, girls.” I said wanting to show my appreciation.

“It was our pleasure.” Novi responded.

At first I danced with the girls while the guys hung out and ate some snacks. That was until a slow song came on and both boys wanted my hand so we could dance.

“How can I dance with both of you for this song?” I wanted to see if either of them had a way that the three of us could dance together.

“I guess you can't huh?” Dalton expressed.

“No I can’t, so the two of you can choose who gets to dance with me first. Alright? And then we can switch mid-song if you’d like.” I said, not wanting to make the decision myself. I didn't want one to feel some kind of way because I chose to dance with the other one. So making them choose takes that off of my plate.

They both looked depressed. “Delcan can go first and I will pick a different song to dance with you to.” Dalton said.

“Okay” I answered.

Delcan stepped up and placed one hand on my waist and took my other hand in his. We began to dance and our eyes locked. The energy between us was pallettable. We danced for a minute or so until he began to lean in. sparks were already going manic through

my body. I closed my eyes and his lips gently caressed mine.

The sparks started to make me feel a bit dizzy. But I kept it to myself. I didn't want them thinking I needed a break. When he pulled away I saw stars. The kiss was so electric. Then he placed his forehead on mine and we finished our dance. I could see Dalton out of the corner of my eye. He looked so jealous.

“Alright love birds, my turn.” Dalton said as the song that Delcan and I were dancing to ended. Dalton cut right in and put both of his hands on my waist, so I put both my arms around his neck. We were so close that our bodies barely had enough room between us to fit a piece of paper. The sparks I am feeling now feel different from Delcan’s. These were more soft and loving. This let me know that Delcan is going to be the rough one out of the two. Dalton then repeated Delcan’s moves and about half way through the song he kissed me. His kiss was more needy. When he pulled back we locked eyes. “I have been wanting to do that for a very long time.” So many thoughts and images ran through my mind regarding our past. Everything was flashing through my brain. All the bad things that have happened. The way they have treated me before finding out we were mates and so much more. Everything seemed to just be full of hate up until now… And it left me feeling all kinds of things.
