Cant I just sleep . Ow I'm in so much pain

I try to move but can't f**k Mark going to kill me if I don't have breakfast done in time s**t did I do dinner ? ...

Lola you ok?

I ask my wolf she's whimpering at least i know she's still with me but barely.

I try to move again so painful.

" you finally awake ?"

"Who are you ? ? " I say

" im Ryan " he says

" oh god I'm so sorry I haven't done the breakfast for you " I say

He chuckles , " dont even try to move and dont worry about that. " he says

"Can you turn the alarm off please ? Where am I? .. "

I ask

" I will call the doctor , you're in the infirmary " he says

I try to move but he just says " don't move i don't want you getting hurt luna ".

What did he say ?? Luna ??? I'm stunned im so shocked I don't even move..

" Hi Amelia let's get this machine turned off . How are you feeling " the nurse sneers at me ..

Ryan growls , she whimpers ..

Have I gone to another dimension? Or have I completely lost my mind ? ...

Since when did I have someone to protect me ?

Oh god Alpha Mark!! What was I thinking ?? I got to get up .. just as I throw the covers off me . That wonderful scent hit me mmm im in a daze . The most handsome man walks in walks up to me "Mate" he says and I say at the same time .

He must be a god as his body sculptured ,nice jet black hair and most dazzling green eyes .

" Hi im Lewis " he says

" im Amelia " I say

He chuckles holding me in his arms stroking my hair .

" How are you feeling ? " he asks

" Im ok " I say

Just as I say that my stomach starts to grumble . Oh crap I got to do the breakfast. I go to get up .

" What you doing ? " - he says

" I got to go and do breakfast, oh god what am I doing i shouldn't be speaking to you " that hurt to say that he winces at that. Damn mate bond .

" what do you mean ? " he asks pain in his eyes at what I have said.

" Alpha Mark , will kill me if breakfast isn't done on time , also he ordered me not to talk to you or Ryan, oh s**t I'm in so much trouble " I'm panicking now ...

He comes up close to me makes me look at him by holding my chin and says " listen to me you don't have to do any of that stuff also don't worry about Mark , I'm dealing with him " he turns to Ryan and says " could you go and get some food for Amelia please "

" Yes Alpha " Ryan says

Ryan walks out the door. Lewis is holding me , he calms me so much . I look at him he looks at me , he leans into me and kisses me electric runs through my veins this kiss oh my life I put my hands around his head and deepen the kiss I can't get enough .I run my hands down his shoulders he groans im feeling pleasure he puts his hands around my waist and pulls me closer to him . Oh my life this is the best feeling ever. Just as I about to undo his shirt the door knocks . Ryan walks in . I look at him , he's got a cheeky grin on his face , Lewis glares at him , Ryan just chuckles he places my food on the table and walks out the door while doing so winks at me . Lewis growls, Ryan just shrugs. Lewis turns to me and says "eat , im going to see the doctor to see when you can leave here. "

Lewis p.o.v

Amelia is so thin . What did they do to her ? She's so beautiful her dazzling violet hair her sunflower colour eyes. Why isn't she healed yet ?

I'm on the way to see the doctor .

" why isn't she healed yet ? "

" When can she leave " . I ask

Doctor looks at me with disgust and says " she hasn't healed yet because of all the beatings she has received and she is very undernourished, "

" why didn't anyone stop the beatings , you of all people should be protecting the whole pack " i shout

" I erm i tried " he says

" how ?" I shout

" my whole staff got a beating when I asked Alpha Mark to stop , besides her aunt was tied to a pole in the middle of the town square and whipped with silver dipped wip as a lesson to us all and ordered not to disobey him " he says

" is that so ? When can Amelia go ? " I say

" wherever she's ready " he says

I'm walking back to Amelia room and the luna of the pack grabs hold of my arm she trying to rub herself against me i shove her off and growl " Don't you ever touch me or come near me again " I shout

She whimpers and says " Dont you know she's a half mongruel mutt ,who doesn't deserve you ?" . I just laugh at her and say to Ryan "put her in the cell next to Mark "

" Yes Alpha " . Ryan says

What a day this has turned out to be im starting to get a headache. Neo not helping keeps pestering me to complete the mate bond and pacing in my mind.

I get to Amelia room she is lying on the bed asleep , seeing her , calms me. My headache subsides . I hold her hand she must be so tired she doesn't even notice me. I glance at the tray of food , all gone , I smile knowing she has eaten. At least this will help with her healing. Neo is pushing Amelia mind to connect with her wolf .

" What are you doing neo ? Let her rest. " I say to him

" I also want to know what she has suffered." He says

" just be careful i don't want anything bad to happen to her mind " I'm selfish i want to know what she has been through.

He informs me of everything she has been through.

The beatings she has suffered from the age of 5 , pack slave , drinking small doses of wolfsbane , she lucky to be alive , seeing her aunt being whipped,her being whipped also . if we hadn't of come when we did he would of done more to her . fortunately it didn't get that far.

Neo is angry . I want to go to Mark and beat him to a pulp but thats to easy . I leave Ryan to guard Amelia.

I'm in Mark's office I want to see how he is running his pack . Especially interested in whats Jeremy connection with the pack if any ? . I'm rummaging through his paperwork . To see if there's any clues .

I get mind linked with Ryan saying Amelia is awake. I tell him ill be there shortly.
