My eyes flew open as a splash of water hit my face. Taking in a few deep breaths and coughing several times, I tossed my head around frantically which turned out to be a bad idea considering my body began to feel shaky out of weakness.
My body went limp for a moment before I built the courage to lift my head again. This time, I took in my surroundings one by one. The darkness of the room wasn't new to me, I have been here before. The scene gave me a sense of deja vu, from the first time I was abducted. The room was dark, with a single bulb hanging from the ceiling as the only source of light.
