Chapter 8: I won't hear a thing from you, Ruby.

He touched his nostrils, “You were done provoking me. Why don’t you try and show me your true colors?” he controlled himself not to shout at her.
She frowned. “What have I done that I made you mad?" she innocently questioned.
He couldn’t help but to snort, “Tss. Stop pretending Ruby. I should’ve known that you were like this, that you were just acting like a reserved girl but the truth was you was not to start with.” He emphasized the word not.
“What?” she was so confused. What happened while she was not around?
She continued, “Wait, can you tell me what’s going on so I could understand?” she gestured helplessly. She wetted her lower lip then stared at his furious face.
He put the phone on her hand, “I am so disgusted about your actions. You have another man except me? Tell me, how old is he?”
With a frown, “Wait, what? What's going on? Inform me…” she whispered the last two words.
He clicked his tongue then ran his left hand through his hair. “What did you said just earlier? Keep this relationship? Do you think we could if you were the one clinging to another man?!” he shouted madly.
He breathed with a lot of difficulty.
She hurriedly opened her phone, sure enough, Ervin called her baby again. This man!!
She laughed, “No… it wasn’t like that. He is—“
Seeing her laughing, he was even more furious. ”You don’t say a thing anymore.” He turned around then hailed a taxi.
She ran and held his wrist. “What are you doing?! I am not yet done explaining, he is my—“ He took off her hand, inhaled then turned around to stare at her.
He massaged his temples, “What have I done that I didn’t made you happy? I am so pathetic…” he left her then didn’t bother when she cried.
She sat on the ground, “He is my cousin, fool. What are you thinking I am cheating on you?”

After the situation, she didn’t even know how she got home.
When she got home, her eyes were swollen.
Her family asked about it but she didn’t utter a word.
She locked herself in her room crying while sending him countless chats/ texts, and even calls. But no offense, he didn’t replied to any of them nor did he had the nerve to read it or to answer her calls.
She was enraged and decided to text Ervin.
[When I see you, I’ll kill you. I already said to stop calling me baby.]
She went downstairs holding her phone.
Veizy locked her eyes to her, “What happened?” she worriedly asked her sister who is within a week abruptly changed with no way for them to coaxed her like what they did in the past.
Ruby looked at her then shrugged shoulders. “Nothing. Was your modelling been good? These days you’ve been trending and hitting the number 1 spot. Keep up the good work.” She changed the topic successfully.
Veizy jumped then smiled, “Yeah, I did.---wait, you were trying to change the topic. Hey! Answer me first.” She yelled at her figure who was walking upstairs now.
Ruby didn’t bother then put ear pads in her ear. Veizy didn’t get angry instead wanted to know what exactly happened to them.
She crossed her arms whilst her back leaning against the racks.
While staring at her figure, Veizy saw Harrison passing through her, wanted to get water. “Harrison, what exactly happened?” she looked at him.
He looked at her then answered,
“I heard her boyfriend misunderstood something that involved Ervin, you know that Ervin called the girls 'baby', right? That part, her boyfriend misinterpreted it by saying that she had another man and they haven’t talked about it again because Davien never answered his phone.” With one breathe, he precisely explained then drank the cup filled of water.
She nodded while sighing, “I see. I feel bad for them, their relationship was far better than the way I expected it.”
“You’re right.” Harrison said then went away while he tidied his messy hair. Veizy propped her chin by her left hand thinking about the two.
Ruby went inside her room thinking of what to do. She was bored, she wants someone whom she can talked to with, laughed with… but there was only one person she could think of, Davien.
Right, he was the only one she was waiting for to come and call her or whether he texted her, she doesn’t care. She just needs to clear the misunderstanding, she never knew he could be that jealous boyfriend that will lead to this extent.
She just needs to wait and chat or call him until he answer it.
She will never get tired if it’s because he was the only one person who loved her except her family, no one.
No one had never been so caring for her.
For her, he was an important person, also she had a reason to care for him, and he is her boyfriend, why wouldn’t she be worried about where he is right now?
Where was the man who used to call, text and made her laugh the most? Davien indeed made her to be so optimistic that he will eventually…. be back with her.
But actually, how? She never knew where he lives because he made it secret for her. Maybe, he was too ashamed because he was poor and that he don’t want me to see his house.
But that’s alright, all I need was him, not how beautiful was his house is.
Though, in her family and relatives... they are quiet hesitant at first but… learning that he doesn’t know who she was, they heave a sigh of relief then let her decide on her own.
That decision was the only thing she never regret risking... because the risk worth it.
Notwithstanding all of this, for having one year relationship, they should have more trust to each other that they will not cheat and leave each other.
It must be that way, but why does everything turned opposite? Was he implying that she was not trustworthy enough as his girlfriend?
She did everything to be good and enough to him… wasn’t it enough?
She tried to be feminine, thought about him, know about his likes and dislikes, everything… she did what she had to do, and never missed out a thing.
Why does he thought I have another man?
I have Hypersensitivity so I am sensitive by the touch of other people except her family, Gesile and him. So how would I have another man?
We didn’t lacked communication, we frequently dated, always call and texted each other... so what was missing in their relationship? Intimate course?
No way!! He was not that clingy neither I desired it because I don’t like a boyfriend whose too clingy.
What actually happened that he never answered a thing from her??
