Chapter Nine “This one is nice.” Amanda slid the brochure over to Stacey. Stacey picked it up and looked at it. It was a nursing home on the outskirts of the city. The photo showed a radiant nurse helping an old man out of his wheelchair. Something about the photo was so phony that all Stacey did was drop it back onto the table. “Let me see it. I’ll look it up.” Tony took the brochure off the table. It had been four days since Tina had her seizure. She was still in the hospital for observation. Stacey had spoken to her grandmother for the first time after the first night of observation. It hadn’t been uplifting. Tina had been distant and foggy.
